Just to follow up on the Fase report below, the price is 170K and it has been 170K for five years as far as I know. It may have been 150K the very first times I went, that's fuzzy to me. That includes the house's cut and the girl's cut, as well as the room. They do charge a 10K entry fee, drinks are 4K-22K (depending on what it is / who it's for) and they will try and hit you 5K for a condom. You can bring your own or bareback it if you negotiate that. I find negotiating extras is like this, on a slow night you can get them for nothing, on a busy night you may not be able to get them at all or wind up paying as much as 100K more depending on exactly what you want. You're going to taxi wherever you're going, buy a drink wherever you're going and 10K entry is $5 USD, not a big deal. The major difference is the price of the girls. Sometimes it's well worth it, often it's not.

Laureles and Conquistadores are both nice places to stay. They are easier to get in and out of than Poblado IMO.

I googled the topic and found stings were all on the streewalker scene but did read an area-Polk county, think that, s Orlando? They, re pulling us guys in days at a time off of Backpage and the local sheriff is bragging about it. Hope this is not South Florida. But then I'm only 2 hours from Mde, SJO. I am more than willing to spend the extra couple hundred in airfare to be safe.

I've spent plenty of time in Latin America (only have very modest Spanish skills) however this will be my first trip to Medellin.

I'm not going there as a monger (had to scale that down recently) but as a pro photographer (not porn). I have access to solid models via a couple of agencies but will need assistance in posing them and negotiating rates and such. Also the agents don't seem to have English skills.

Bottom line is that, I need to find a female that has had some experience modeling who can function as an English / Spanish translator and assist in making arrangements. I'm thinking about using a dating site as I did this years ago in the Phils and it paid off.

Any other thoughts or contacts here?

No hanging at the mansion period, unless you are a guest. It is a good policy as the guests pay a premium to stay in a room.

No Spanish? You can try Jake's place. He posts here. No other good options in my opinion.

Thank you![/QUOTE]Sorry, man, you won't even be allowed into the building if you are not a registered guest. I wouldn't recommend Medellin at all unless you have some more Colombian mongering experience, conversational Spanish, or traveling with a group of people.
