I feel this way perhaps because of my own experiences in Ukraine.

That said, however, with Kiev being the city where a lot of my dreams have come true, I would like to see it with my own eyes what is really happening there.

In this regard, it is in fact unbelievable what I am reading. After all, I was in Kiev only last November, a few days before all this started in that month, when I experienced almost the same as before.

I will be there sooner or later this year and hopefully find my dream girl, lol !

I will most likely stand out as a foreigner. Perhaps there are many stupid Ukrainians who don't understand what is happening politically and economically and who just vent their steam toward any foreigners. But make no mistake, if they attack me, they will be covered by pepper spray!

Well, I am shocked at all the negative posts and comments concerning this terrific city, Kyiv. First of all let me state a few things. I do not go to strip clubs and I really have little interests in clubs in general. Also, I do not speak the local language very well and have been living in Kyiv for just 7 months. While I have lived and spent time in some Central / Eastern Europe cities, including Budapest and Minsk, I don't claim to be an expert or specialist in the area of mongering.

That said, there are beautiful women everywhere here. Fat girls? Where? I don't see many of them at all. Walk on Kreshchatyk, walk between Politek. Institue and Sviatosyn metro, go to Ocean Plaza, take the metro or just sit at a café anywhere and watch them all walk by. Nonsense! Kyiv is over flowing with beauties of all makes. In my office not only are there beautiful women working, but coming and going all day. Pleasant, honest, sexy, warm, hard working and charming women. Not just these money grubbing working girls being written about here.

Look, if you're judging a city based on a four day holiday weekend (many people have left the city this weekend) of hitting strip bars and trying to take home girls from clubs, well that is your prerogative. However, I am happy to say my experience here has been overwhelmingly positive, save the political atmosphere, which is easily avoided if you are willing to live outside the center.

At this moment I have freebies and lovely, young students looking for sponsors coming out the ying-yang. In fact, I have been dating this very sexy university student who I never give money to. I am 40 and she is 21. In North America I could never have met a young hottie like her without dumping tones of money on her lap. Here I take her for dinner, we go for a nice walk, I make her laugh and she keeps my bed warm. She is absolutely sweet. Occasionally I buy her perfume, Roshen chocolates or expensive hand cream, but that is rare and she never asks for it.

In truth, I am starting to get bored of her. Can you imagine? In North America I would be dying to keep her but here, with so many young, pretty and available women, I can afford to look elsewhere. I have a date with another young woman (see photo below) on Monday. Tall, simple, sexy and very warm. She is studying to be a doctor.

Kyiv might be over for those interested in just a cheap, quick trip to strip clubs. But to those mongers who are willing and can afford to put a little more effort in, it is very rewarding.

it steams me to no end to see these dumbasses charging covers and extracting minimums and you need to pay x dollars to sit there with their club is 98% empty. it should be: you are our only customer. you are god. you can sit in the throne. wherever you want. we will make you happy so you will call your friends and say this is awesome and we will build business. i went into star nosorog once and they had a ladies night with all male strippers and wanted to force me to pay 500 uah in order to sit down. what the hell kind of business logic is that. never did i ever see a club in canada or usa that ever did this kind of thing. you want to sit? then sit. you want the bar? sit at the bar. you want to drink? buy one. you don't? sit and enjoy the show. you want a dance, ask a girl? don't? nobody will bother you.

just stupid. and sad. and so not worth it when there is nobody worthwhile to spend time with or watch dance.

so for you and me, probably there is not so much room anymore. mamba. just women in their 30s and 40s looking to get married, and have a father for their 3 children abandoned by their 3 ukrainian fathers. deal with anti-foreigner attitude which seems to be growing but is not completely obvious yet. or deal with fake profiles.

and always the dreaded question: why do you come to kiev? really, you people have a great and beautiful european capital that could be everything that any of the others are if you just believed in yourselves a bit. people can come to kiev because it's beautiful, the girls are beautiful, there is fun to be had, good food and things to see and do. why must you always hold this up as an accusation: why do you come to kiev? are you here on business? sigh. it's ok to like your city, it really is.

the girls i saw out at places like shooters, mostly looked like really close to post-soviet types, overweight, tacky clothing, bad hair and makeup. you can see them in bangkok at cm2, similar types of girls from uzbekistan and khazakstan. nobody i'd want to be seen with.

i think if you have extensive contacts from past trips or local presence you will always be ok because you can turn to your network. but if you are transient and hoping to meet someone, better off elsewhere. maybe dubai.

i just don't feel there is any bloom on this rose anymore. if you want to meet a beautiful ukrainian girl you should probably go to moscow now or london and have a lot, a lot, a lot of money and be prepared to lay out the red carpet for the princess. if you just want a nice country girl you will probably be able to find that in kiev with extensive work, but that's the same anywhere in the world. and what is the cost of your time?

also your personal standards in this matter. mine are high. mine were set high based on what i experienced in kiev 3 years ago though. used to be wow. now it's omg wut.

on the street i don't know and in high end clubs i don't know. but in high end clubs, the demands are about the same as you would expect in miami or new york anyway. i will try say d'lux tomorrow and i fully expect some average girl to suggest $1000 to me. i would in turn ask, who is paying, me, or you? because if you are paying, i am so down with that.

i promise to ask this tomorrow. who is paying. i could use some cash too.

in the end, what's the point here? if you have a few million to kick around to impress princesses in monaco and milano and new york, you don't need to come to kiev with all its problems to do so. if you want to be one of these sultans who sets up a $3 million or $5 million flat to impress the girls you can impress them. but more and more they are a string of slightly above average country girls come to the big city with bad hair and clothes. nice bodies but as soon as they get a taste of anything related to western diet they are doomed and so you are doomed too. you will be adopting a daughter who can't run her own life, who if you travel with her she will do something like leave all her cash sitting out in the open for the housekeeper to steal. then she will be confused as to why that happened and you will forever be fixing and dealing with her little mistakes. because you adopted a clueless daughter that needs everything spoon fed to her like she's 3 years old.

the third time she will be pissed off that you didn't book the presidential suite at the armani hotel in dubai and fly her in with the private jet so she can instagram it to all her friends to make them jealous. they are extremely fast, the ukrainian girls, at adopting to positive economic changes.

i had a girl whine and * and moan about being at one of the best five star resorts in maldives because it was a beach villa instead of an over water villa. over water villas are for rookies who think it's cool, then end up in a small place that has no sun in the afternoon and have to walk a mile to get to a place where they can swim or sun or eat. beach villas are great, open the door, stroll into the water and enjoy. bigger, costs less, better experience. but don't tell that to your spoiled ukrainian girl you just ruined her instagram account because she told all her friends she would be in maldives and there's an expectation then from her fanbase about what kinds of pictures she will be posting.

so really your plan must be to first make about $100 million dollars, then buy your $5 million flat in kiev to impress the girls, keep around about $2 million in cars, and make sure you have prestige access to all clubs where you must spend thousands per night to keep her and her friends entertained. and then budget money to deal with their fuckups. they want cars and education and travel and the expenses are never ending. and during this process you convert the girl from a nice fit pretty country girl into a fat spoiled idiot with constant demands including "where are you, what are you doing, who are you seeing?"

is it ever worth that? to do it right?

i don't think so.

for me, i think in the future i'll just go to new york or london. enjoy seeing some truly beautiful girls who left their bullshit countries behind. and not do so worrying about people in the streets with clubs coming after me or what putin feels like doing tomorrow with his new toy.

To say Kiev has the same beautiful women it always had, is just so wrong. All the dynamics that gave more options to the girls created a less attractive mongering environment. It's like the regular girls started disappearing and everything was going the way of pure hustle. Who's going to visit now with hating lunatics walking the streets.

I think that Protocol's primal scream had many elements of truth in it. The same with Canadian's assessment of his situation. Mine is not dissimilar to CB's. However, I have been here much longer and have seen many changes in my time.

I, too, have no use for bars, clubs, strip clubs and all the other joints that rip off the occasional or even the more experienced monger. These are the refuges of the weekend or week-long WYSIWYG monger who has these as his best options. He is too lazy or too scared or linguistically challenged to try mamba or other options. By focusing just on the strip clubs, Buddha, Arena, Shooters, or any of the other venues, you are sure to be parted from your money big time with little to no reward. For the short-time monger, I think Protocol's rant rings very true. That said, unfortunately, I have noticed the unfortunate fattening of Ukraine and its women. Ten years ago, a fat young woman was a rarity. Today it is becoming more commonplace. Big thighs, rolling fat waists, big calves, big butts are now showing up more often when I go to the supermarket or elsewhere. I try and walk everywhere and I see what is happening and the trend is not good. Too much MacDonald's and not enough exercise may now be the curse of Ukraine. That they now show up in strip clubs is no surprise. Fortunately there are still more of the slim regular girls, good lookers and stunners but where this trend is not heading in the right direction.

Frankly, success here depends not on the girls but on yourself. How you approach things here and what you are prepared to do or not goes a long way to your success or failure. I am an Indian. There are no similarities between Ukrainians and us Indians. Two different societies. But everytime I was in Kiev for official work, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it is to make friendship with locals. Most memorable were short journeys on metro. Lots and lots of beautiful Ukrainian girls.

Many Indian companies have their offices in Kiev and local Ukrainian girls are working there. It is virtually impossible not to notice them.

He said that ever since its become obvious the East will fall into a Russian orbit, you can actually feel the bad vibe girls are giving off towards foreigners. What is more, May 9 and May 25 are two dates you must be aware of. These are politically significant dates here in Ukraine. I would avoid being in and around large public venues on these two dates. I for one will be happily retreating to my apartment far from the center with a bottle of cognac, a Hemingway novel and my favorite piece of ass on these two dates. At the moment Kyiv is quite quiet and relaxed, but my experiences here tell me the situation can change quickly and dramatically. Others might disagree but I think I've assessed the situation here accurately.
