Here are some hotels I know to be guest friendly without trying to charge a price. This is current as of March my list trip. In El Centro, you have Soy Loca, Casa Noir, Ethnic Thematic, and Hotel El Viarejo. In Boccagrade you have Oz Hotel, Oz Luxury Hotel, and Hotel Blue Concept. I personally recommend the Oz Hotel it comes with complimentary breakfast.

I will say that Oz is an odd mix of mongers and people on vacation. Its pretty funny when you bring a pro in to sign in and a family checking in right behind you.

The OP has been to Brazil. I thought Rio was way overrated. Sao Paulo would probably be my #2 city, but it does not have a low end like Bogota does with Santa Fe.

You just don't know where to look. They got cheap street walkers all over the clubbing area hot spots including Pinheiros to Liberdade. I went out clubbing with civvies down there. The street walkers were everywhere on Friday and Saturday. They got low end casas like Tangara and the freelancer escort sites like Photoacompanhantes hot freelancers charge only 120 BRL in house.

Thanks guys.[/QUOTE]Pre pandemic La Isla had stunners that could compete with Scandallo. Those days are long gone and a distant memory. Just temper your expectations. I've been mongering in Colombia since 2014 and now go mostly to Sao Paulo and Rio. Occasionally hit up Medellin and Cartagena.
I'm in Bogota right now and thinking of visiting Cartagena on Monday and Tuesday. Not having any luck finding guest friendly Airbnb's. Any recommendations?

Now this was normally the white chicas or light chicas. I had one chica tell me she's allergic to so much sun that you'd find at the beach. But not many like the beach. Some told me they like to show up close to closing time and catch the guys on the way out. And some just go to the restaurants around El Laguito to catch someone's eye while at the restaurant there.
Currently in CTG now; I come here twice a year for the last 8 years, but I think I'm done. I've never seen so many stuck up, entitled, overcharging working girls in my life ever here in Colombia. In my 3 nights here, I must have approached 15 girls between space and LDV and the alleys. I requested 3 hours, party with drinks penthouse jacuzzi, etc, and 2 leches. Literally EVERY SINGLE ONE, started with 300 or 350 USD! Not one girl starts in pesos. Like wtf LOL- even girls who I known for years have raised their prices 50% and also talk in dollars which never used to happen, I think the working girls unionized. Out of my friends desperation, one working girl turned down $500 for all night and all day the next day for boat day (not even the second night) - she needed 700 USD lmfao-.
Smh Brazil it is, now it's similar cost wise, but 10 X nicer girls and better service. Peace out CTG, it's been real.

Its my first time in Colombia, and I had a bit of a noob question. Is there an escort agency, or a specific quality casa that I can go to? I'm happy to pay a bit of a premium for the right girl, but hoping for a safe / low friction experience! Would rather not go to the clubs to find someone.

And in comparison to other places I visited, cancun, Cuba, DR, Puerto Rico, panama, Costa Rica, for me, Colombia was always king on its own level, incomparable to those other spots. Why is this place so much more expensive than the rest of Colombia? Even my first time in San Andres I was expecting it to be as or more expensive than Cartagena being that it is an island. I was surprised that it was actually way cheaper. I am in Leticia right now and I think this is the cheapest place I have been to in Colombia. Yesterday me and my girl had a fish combo for 10,000 each that normally goes for 35,000 in Bogota. See you in Thailand! I have been paying freelancers from the discos $30 for the night for the past 14 years.
