Well I missed a flight and ended up staying in Thailand 2 extra days but I finally made it. My plan arrived a hour late and I found myself at the hotel about midnight. Time I showered and changed rooms at shangri la hotel it was 12:45 when I went out to explore.

First stop was Malio club. I hope this helps newbies to the area learn from my mistakes. I walked in to Malio and was immediately surrounded by groups of ladies wanting shots and drinks. It was a little too much to start. One group came over and I thought they were the most attractive so I offered them a drink. I was still trying to adapt my ear to the broken English they spoke but I guess I agreed to 5 tequila shots each. I had two on top of me rubbing my hands all over chest. 2 others licking my nipples and 1 other doing something else. They say go upstairs. Ok that sounds interesting. Upstairs we went. This is when they got a shot of steroids with wanting wanting wanting. The shots were taken away without any of them taking one. I had 3 guy waiters asking for tips. I immediately realized this wasn't for me. I ask for bill and get up. I came across some level headed ladies and sat down. Next thing I know a bucket of beers show up. I tell waiter I didn't order and go to the front to pay. The beers were still on bill. I waited 15 minutes for them to sort it out. Finally, bill comes without that charge. This was a quick 90 dollar lesson. I don't recommend malio to any newbies. Or hopefully my report makes you aware of what not to do so you can stop it from happening.

By this time it was shortly after 2 pm and I try to race to kotah indah. They were closed upon arrival.

You should have retreated upstairs and over to Malioboro if things were getting out of hand in Malio. My success in Malio Club is based on being firm with the dancers. #1 I only buy drinks for the dancers I am interested in. And you didn't check BATS at 1 am before venturing elsewhere?

Sunday at BATS isn't fantastic but it has resulted in a number of accompanied exits of good quality over time. Certainly much better than achieved at Blok M on a Sunday anytime this decade.

Any reading below would have highlighted BATS, and CJs as the alternate for searches in bars at night on off peak days.
