i remember a similar law in maryland decades ago. one needed to be 18 to pour drinks, but 21 to drink drinks.

I use them every time I travel between BKK and Pattaya. They are great.

The willingness for 3 hole backbacking had occurred to me, but I'm sure many TGs are up for that anyway, whether ice heads or not. The motivations to karma, family & the latest iphone are the only drugs they need to do anything your heart desires.

Likewise Thailand is slim central station already. Add yabba, the crazy drug, to that, and you may end up with an anorexic looking thing, and one more likely to be fucked up than provide "great service". Fucked up including such things as being HIV positive & running around town butt naked. While I found the occasional addict sex worker in Canada was amazing, long ago I left that scene for the safer arena & more consistent efforts of Thailand's ladies.

But if you're looking for meth heads, come up to Bangkok. You'll have no trouble finding many there. Though if I was you, I'd look into relocating to Singapore or Hong Kong. They are in dire need of English teachers, salary would be much higher than LOS, and you could feast on economical dishes from Vietnam, PI, Indonesia, PRC, as well as Thai. What's that they say, variety is the spice of life?

You should enjoy yourself while you're relatively young & haven't yet lost your mojo or become bed ridden. Alas, there won't be much left to live for after that happens!

Just to be clear, Mr T Taxi has always delivered on their promise for pickups, and I don't mean to suggest anyone should avoid them. As a businessman myself I know the power of negative publicity that is unwarranted. However, my problem with Mr T is that increasingly they avoid answering emails within a few hours (prompting me to physically go to their office to confirm a booking) , as well as their unprofessional and hostile dealings in the last several face-to-face encounters with their staff. In the face of that unpleasantness I'm happy to move on to regular use of PattayaTaxi as a substitute service. Thus the free market speaks.

They look rather fat to me lately, and I've never noticed karma, family, or iphones to be any motivation. After all, the cost of an iphone is nothing compared to the earnings of any even moderately good looking Thai sex-worker, good service or bad. Also I think the devotion to family thing is outdated as well.

Well, that isn't my profession; but since you bring it up, why would they need English teachers in those places where they already speak English? Secondly, the higher salary in such places is negated by the much higher cost of living, n'est ce-pas?

Re cell phones, it seems many of them in BKK have to have the latest & best. So a new 20,000 baht phone every few months. That's on top of the money for personal expenses, the thousands they send every week or month to family, cost for any kids they have, their education, etc. At the end of the month when rent is due they can be especially desperate.

In Singapore English proficiency is much better than Thailand, although IME it appears Chinese is the primary lingo in daily usage. Those I've encountered don't speak it very well, if at all, in most cases. I wouldn't be surprised if many of the rich have tutors for their kids so they can get a leg up education wise. I know quite a few of them hire expert chess players towards the same goal.

Aside from accomodations expenses I haven't found SG any more expensive than BKK. If I wanted to I could downgrade my place so that I pay the same amount as I do in Siam. A quickie with a Thai, Viet, Indo, EI is easily attainable for the SG equivalent of 600 baht. Check it out. Flights from BKK with AirAsia only around 50 USD.

Yeah, I do talk to them, I find it interesting. I've never run across anyone who actually claimed to send thousands home to family. I think they almost all just live hand-to-mouth and just take a few thousand home when they go to visit. Could be wrong of course.

Well, I've never lived in Bangkok, but I think of 5,000 baht/month as the upper limit for residence costs anywhere in the kingdom. I have been to Singapore a couple of times - it was nice enough. I seem to remember paying more like 1,500 baht equivalent for short time service with non-Chinese girls (if I remember rightly Chinese were even more, but I don't like Chinese).

Now I am in Pattaya. There are not many tourists now and girls should be all for me. Jejejeje.

But I have to be sincere with you: it is the first time I visit Pattaya and I'm I so surprised about many girls that you can buy here.

My hotel is at Soi 13. I don't like bars and every night I am at Beach Road. There are many many girls here after the 8:00 pm but it is hard to find a very beautiful girl.

Some ask 2000 bath for ST, other 1500 bath for ST and other 1000 bath for ST. I have seen many outdoor bars too and if I have to be sincere it is hard to find a real gem. May be my taste is different from other guys here and I have to tell you I will not go anymore to Pattaya. Many girls but not for my taste.

I have chatted with a regular girl on Badoo and tomorrow I will meet her in my room. She has some beautiful pics on the net and I hope she is beautiful in person too.

Took me some time to find her, like you said. In case, you have higher requirements, you should try a gogo. But be aware of high prices, like I mentioned in my previous reports. Note the protests against the prices I paid. Being used to top quality in Ukraine or Russia, where I go quite often during the year, I am not happy with the average quality to be found in Pattaya, too.

Regarding the second statement, looks like we both share some higher level. So, try one of the big Body Massage Salons, on Second Street, between Soi 3 and Soi 1. The (not too young) ladies are good looking, and excellent performers usually.
