I think you must be getting some places confused. Carioca 59 is a nice dirty stair. The front door is wood. The doors on the individual places as you walk up are left open during 'business hours' but I'm pretty sure none are glass and there would be no room for doors plural. Your description sounds a bit like Casarao across the road, which can be rather dark inside. I find it hard to imagine anyone locking the swing doors as you go in (past reception, where you pick up a tab and are charged a nominal entrance fee at peak times). Occasionally a girl will give you are hard sell, which doesn't really happen at C.59 (at least in my six or so years of going there). 10 is a lot of girls to cram into any of the openings in C.59 but a more normal number for Casarao. 3R is average for a beer in any of these type of places. There is a place with glass doors a hundred yards or so down the street though I haven't been for a long time and it's more pricey. If you quote the price you paid for the [i]girl[/i] it may be clearer where you actually had fun. (Casarao is slightly more than C.59 and both are cheaper than several upmarket places with proper doors.)

Your BA85 challenge sounds more accurate. Many have thought of it and failed! ;) Unlike Mangera I have no problem going down on clean girls. Which many of the BA85 girls surprisingly are. BA113 is a different matter entirely :D

Another correction, if you will excuse. '4x4, Termas 65, Cancun, and 502' are not 'North Centro' termas. They are 'centro' Centro. The ones referred to in the north of centro are those above Pres.Vargas, a rather different area and much less posh. There's probably only one real high end terma there, though Aquarios and Florida do a good mid-range at the better times. For those who have looked round here but aren't familiar with the geography, it's the area that includes the Leandro Martins 'sweat boxes', Afrodite, and a million rundown businesses but still more respectable than the area further west.

There are some places in the south east part of Centro where I've seen businessmen sit with their laptops. And an area like Botafogo is not bad. But I personally think that guys getting a laptop out in Copa are taking a chance.

Your right about the location. I actually went to both places. I did do a session at 59 on the 2nd floor. I got a little spoked becuase they had a small alter in the front of the "working" area that I went to. The girl I took was pretty cool. Once she got me in her stall, she started rubing her thumb, indes and middle finger together like "money please". I paid her for the session and for a beer ($18r/15min). When she came back, I opened the beer and asked her if she wanted a sip. She moitioned yes, than took a healthy gulp.

What I remeber most about this girl was that while when where having sex, she started fingering her own ass during sex in sheer delight. And she was really getting off on fingering her own ass! interesting about casarao opposite - was it at a quiet time? (pleased we've sorted out the venue - casarao is rua carioca 40.) did you get a nice stall with the 'one in ten?' the rooms for business upstairs - nice ones are at the front with daylight imo. it's funny you getting locked in the bar area. no money normally changes hands there or in the stalls - it all goes on your paper tab. but the place is pretty laid back. i've had some great shags there - well worth the extra if you get a nice girlie and better facilities than c.59 - though the lack of lighting has bugged me too. thanks for the extra details - sounds like you had a great time! :)

BA 85 is my favorite for now. I will take up the challenge when I am there in two days. I might wait until Wed. or Thursday of next week to do it, that way I am over my jet lag.

I tried the BA marathon but only got to 3 floors. The heat on the second and top floor usually makes these the too toughest to get the deed done.

Plus, you have to leave the Copa girls alone the previous night.

For some reason I am really excited about this trip, though I was there in April.

Was chatting a bit with the gerente( son of owner as well ), and I asked him if he had neck pain. He was wondering why I would ask. Being that he is usually sitting up by the front desk, he sees all of the garotas constantly walking by, checking in, etc. Every once in a while he will slap one in the ass as she walks by. After a couple of minutes he came by, punched me on the left shoulder, and leaned in and said, while laughing....I already got so used to it, you will too.

I usually go 4 x 4 once per trip, and it never seizes to amaze me how well structured this particular buss. is. I like to sit by the front desk for a while, observe, and listen to conversations between the owner and staff. Also, it gives me a much better look at the garotas as they walk by.

One final observation....what the hell is the deal with wearing a baseball cap backwards and/or a headband while wearing a robe in the boite? For goodness sake, I like the accessories as well, but not while wearing a robe in a termas. Freedom of expression is wonderful, but have some common sense. Laters!

OK, I admit that I once wore a headband in 4x4 ... but only so that Christopherd could identify me (we had never met before).

During one of my trips to Rio last year, a garota at 4x4 actually asked me to give her a tip after our 1hr session. I replied that I didn't have spare dough in my robe. To which she replied that she could follow me to the locker room and I could give her money from my wallet.

Obviously I shot down that idea and told her that tipping extra for sessions are not the way things are done in Brazil, nor Rio, nor 4x4 for that matter. This entire conversation was in Portuguese so she understood precisely what my position was. She got pouty and rather whiny, but I held firm. I've seen her at 4x4 a few times this year and she tries to get me to go with her again - but after that little incident I steer clear of her. Too bad, since she is just my type ( a thin morena with a very pretty face, straight black hair, and a nice little butt). She doesn't seem to get many clients and I think that may be a reason why (she was just average in the "cama" as well . It's a shame because if she would change her attitude a bit she would likely be a very popular GDP.

Unfortunately I've forgotten her name, but she was still working at 4x4 as of April.
