I remember when I went in 2009/2010 several people have written same story on several websites but I was impressed from Fortaleza! There were always nice women in Mambo, Cafe del Mar. Or also on Wednesdays in Armarzem. The girls always stayed at barraca boa vida in the praia do futuro (during the day). I do not nead hundreds of women, only some nice looking brazilian ladys.

I am currently in town until 10/08, I am an American that speaks some Spanish but no Portuguese but that hasnt slowed me down too much. I was told about the crime here but last night (Friday) was a blast, I think I'll stick to my 4 drink max and seems most people are just trying to have a great time. That being said, I didn't go far from the lit streets and cops armed with guns and bulletproof vests though. Its always safer with more people, Anyone want to join forces to chase tail? A yearly update on the Fortaleza scene.

GENERAL:
* No rain at all the last week.
* Increased number of brazilian tourists in Fortaleza. Less gringos than usual. Most gringos consist of italians with an average-age of 60 plus.
* Apartment prices from R$80 for a nice apartment in the Iracema area.

PRO-SCENE, NIGHT-TIME:
* PRICES: It seems like standard that the girls ask for R$100-150 at the clubs. Negotiate and don´t pay more than maximum of R$80. Streetwalkers are cheaper.
* "Ho-crossing", clubs: Just Forro & Mambo and some small bars left. Cafe del Mar is closed.
* Zipi Bar. Zipi Bar starts early, around 10 PM. R$10 minimum consumption. There are quite a few girls that are (just about) doable. If you look hard you might find a nine-pointer, but propably no ten-pointers. Difficult to find the real stunners.
* Armazem: Wednesdays, ho-night. The usual GP´s from Iracema and "once-a-week-pro's".
* Crocobeach: Thursday, party evening. Mixture of mainly regular girls and some GP´s. It has gone downhill even more than before.

PRO-SCENE, DAY-TIME, CENTRO:
* Praça dos Martires: Just old and very ugly women..
* Espaço Show: Praça dos Martires. Low-end place with strip-tease and GP´s.

PRO-SCENE, PRIVÊS, CENTRO:
There are lots of privês in Centro. This year I was disappointed with the quality.
* Rua Pedro Pereira 950: Up the stairs, white door. R$50/30 minutes. Only 3 girls. Two fat dragons and one very cute 18 year old, Michele. Michele has a killer body, but her performance is among the worst I ever had.
* Rua Pedro Pereira 1252: Used to have 4 girls last year. It has changed. Avoid it or you´ll get a bad surprise.

PRO-SCENE, BEACH:
* Praia do Futuro: It´s much harder than it used to be to find GP´s at Praia do Futuro.
* Beira-Mar: The beach and the barracas in front of McDonalds. Very few GP´s. Mixed quality.

PRO-SCENE, OTHER:
* I prefer session at a privê in centro or picking up a GP on the beach. You shouldn´t pay more than maximum R$50 to the beach-GP´s.

NON-PRO-SCENE:
* Fortaleza has a good regular night-life.
Try Mucuripe Club on Fridays. Huge place, 4 pistas and lots of people. Mostly white middle- and upperclass girls.

* Dragao do Mar: Nice realexed bars. Good for meeting regular girls.
* If you want to meet the real beautiful girls in Fortaleza you´ll have to go for the non-pro´s. It´s quite easy to meet regular girls in Fortaleza.
* Where to meet the non-pro´s: You´ll meet them in centro, buses, markets, on the beach or when strolling in Iracema or Beira Mar. Local girls or tourist girls from Rio, Sao Paulo, Brasilia or BH.

FINAL NOTES:
* The stunners in Fortaleza are very rare. The majority are the typical nordestinas, short, overweighted, big squared heads and without necks.

Strange times indead

Am wondering what the scene is like picking up GPs at the beaches daytime at Praia de Futuro. It was great my first 2 trips in 2003 and 2005. There were lots of GPs daytime at Coco and Croco beaches. But there were no GPs there on my last 2 trips in 2008 and 2010. Someone here mentioned the dancing/dining area at Barraca Boa Vida on Sunday afternoons. Is that still OK? Is that the only day, time and place now to find GPs daytime at the beach?

Boa Vida was closed, last November, I think forever (bankruptcy). It's quite impossible to meet GPs in praia do futuro; Coco beach has very few customers; only on Sunday you can find some garota,

Often with the Saturday night man. So you can go to Croco Beach, on Sunday full of non-pro girls 'cause in the afternoon there's a fiesta, dancing well forrò and speaking portuguese it's always very hard, but possible, became friends.

In Beira Mar beaches, not many GPs, low quality, be careful : they are from favelas.

In front of McDonald, in the evening weekends, some GP from disco, but not much pretty; they want start programas early, so are very nervouses and quick.
