Also, how are things going down in GYE now days? I've been itching to find somewhere other than Colombia but I saw that the US military was down there assisting the Ecuadorian government against cartels (news). Is it like Colombia with all the bombings lately but never in metropolitan areas where I would actually end up?

I visited GYE 3 months ago. Thanks to a previous trip, where Doom showed me the ropes, I felt comfortable going to La 18 by myself. At $15 a pop, I couldn't get enough of it. All types of chicas, many 7's or 8's. It felt very safe, there seemed to be very good security at the entrance. For ease of having dozens of choices in such a small area, it can't be beat for a budget hobbyist. I've done Bogota and MDE and I'd say La 18 compares very favorably.

Are the clubs with service easy to find?

There hasn't been a great report for GYE ever or maybe I missed something? I would love a breakdown of the scene there compared to Quito.

Also what are the chances of getting 420 edibles through * inbound customs at the GYE airport ?
