Its highly emotional, and we have all seen someone overpaying a "ugly" women, which is the same situation really. This is a meat market, but still a Market. I know of quite a few expats who get phone calls when bars close, or business looks low, or if the lady just happens to have a free afternoon, or she just happens to need cash NOW and knows your dependable. Basically your trading off scheduling flexibility vs a discount; The less flexible you are, the smaller the discount. That said, there are many ladies who won't partake in this "off-the-clock" market, for a variety of reasons. Typically a expat "low-ball" offer is higher then they can expect from the Thai market.
Now, walking into a venue on your first day, it may be hard / impossible to get such a discount, but the following may help craft the right image: 1) Sound like an expat. Know Thai phrases, claim you live in some Thai city for a long time. 2) Approach near close of business, or when there haven't been many customers visible [for short-time, etc]. Basically you want to keep her opportunity costs low. 3) State your desired price with confidence, don't haggle; 4) If your not willing to walk away, your not free to negotiate.
Obviously the best time for this is. Low season, during a torrential rain, after the roads have been flooded for a week, right near the end / beginning of the month.

If you are working on an Employment Pass in any country, prefer anonymous testing. Or else your pass will be cancelled and send back to home country. (At least for Singapore there is a clause in the offer letter).
Syphilis can be tested immediately after exposure (Test name is VDRL) ; Indian Councillor told me now there is medicine for syphilis.
Window period for HIV is now 4 weeks to 13 weeks.
If you are an Indian citizen you can do HIV test free of cost and result will be given in couple of hours (No anonymous testing, but just give wrong details). In Singapore, normal clinics will inform Ministry of Manpower if they found us HIV +ve. DSC (Department of STI Control) clinic Singapore offers anonymous HIV testing and you need to pay 30 $ and result will be given in 15-20 mins.
I know everyone here wants enjoy and nobody wants to get any STIs, I had been using Durex ExtraSafe for quite sometime but the broken condom was Durex Love. Can somebody share which condom is best, it is good for all of us here.
BTW, I was totally panic and skipped couple of my planned trips and did HIV test 3 times (9th day. 20th Day & 35th Day) and found I am non- reactive. Thanks God. But to others my advise is, if you have fear about HIV, you will down like anything. So TRYto be confident and always be positive.

I wonder how many times a day what happened to you happens all over Thailand. Condom breakage and slip off rate is quite high. Something like 4% total. Imagine what the girls have to deal with.

I did the usual routine today, starting from Walking Street pub about 1:30am, then Lucifer, then Marine Disco.
