Why is it that such a handsome, tall guys opted for those dwarf, black and ugly asian girls. Is there something that is really attracted to them. Or perhaps they thoughts that by choosing those being rejected by majorties then they will be safe from a lot of troubles aside from STD's? But on the other hand, IF all of them opted for this kind of girls falls under this categories, tendency the demand arrise among them (well good to us, then those lovely faces will be much more left for us to choose from)

Just my personal opinion and questions that long been looking for a correct answer. No harm done. Pardon me if this cause any insult to anyone outthere.

While I agree with you that tourists generally end up overpaying for trashy gogo girls who local guys and many longtime expats wouldn't pay a dime for, I don't think it's necessarily a good thing to conform your standards of beauty and sexuality directly to what the locals say it should be.

I've had a pleasurable time in SEAsia where I've had no one to impress and no subconscious hangups based on class, and so have chosen women purely on instinct and how much I desire her. The longer I stay here the less attractive gogo girls look to me, but part of me misses the days when they seemed new and exciting and incredibly attractive.

In the rich areas where I lived back home previously there were these tall thin women who spent every day walking their small dogs, and going to the gym, salon and nail parlour. Most of them were quite attractive and classy, dressed in expensive fashionable clothes and would make any man look good and respectable while walking arm in arm with her.

In other areas I'd see these hoodrat latina chicks, their parents having emigrating from places like Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, central and south America. They were short and walked around in tight jeans that accentuated their juicy asses, weren't classy by anyone's estimation, often weren't put together too well and had likely never gotten a pedicure in their lives.

Being a young white guy I had very little access to either of these groups. But I really only lusted after the latter. Their sexuality was active and alive in ways that a sterile classy woman's never had been or would be. That might be why, when in a foreign culture whose class system and standards of beauty they don't yet understand or perhaps just don't agree with or give a shit about, even a desirable male might not choose the fair skinned sterile classy girl.

Sometimes you need to trust your loins.

That was not my main point. Actually, the local standards are only a frame of reference that should help us to know what is the real value of the P4P girls available on this market. Here's an analogy: you can be perfectly happy driving a Lada Riva 1600i (for instance), and maybe it's the perfect car for you, but you must know that it is not a Porsche 911 and you are a fool if you paid the price of a Porsche when you bought your Lada. The market can get inflated in the other direction too. Many rich thais pay stupid money for girls with fair skin and think a girl with a slight tan is horribly ugly, which I personally can't understand since I grew up in a place where most everyone had fair skin and so don't find it too impressive. When I see guys choosing "superstar" girls in massage places with asking prices of 5, 000 baht or much higher, it seems just as vulgar to me as the money dumb tourists pay for the hick with the "black" skin. So it's a problem on both sides.

I think the tall young farang should be able to smile when he's with the tan chesty girl that the locals think is ugly. He might be having a great time getting his brains fucked out every night. As long as he's aware of what a fair price is (somewhere between the overpaying tourists and the thais who think she has no value), there's nothing wrong with that.

With all due respect, I have to disagree with this. Looks aren't everything, but they do matter. I can't get it on with a girl that I think is ugly. And I certainly won't pay for the privilege.

To each his own, but I have to say, that I have seen guys hanging out with some real dogs in the land of smiles. I mean butt ugly and heavily made up, and you can't help wondering what could they possibly be thinking. Are they blind? It is not like there aren't plenty of decent looking women around who can serve up the GFE. Are they just on a very tight budget? I do not know.

And then once in a while you see farang with a truly spectacular looking (9*) girl by his side that anybody, Thai or Westerner, would agree is a knock out. Well, if a guy pays the real market price (or not much more than the real value on the local market), there's no problem. One can even dislike Porsche cars: nobody forces anyone to buy a Porsche. As I said, one can be perfectly happy with a Lada, as long as one pays the right price for it and don't mistake this car for a Porsche, that's fine! But actually, many foreigners have no clue and really mistake their Lada for a Porsche: that's obvious in their behavior (in the case of the young tall guy mentioned in my earlier post, for instance) or in their reports submitted in this forum. And as explained earlier too, those who will spend enough time in Thailand would eventually also realize this sooner or later.

Now, about the rich Thais paying (according to you) "stupid money for girls with fair skin", they are not that numerous. I'm pretty sure that more than 95% of the local male population would never pay "5,000 baht or much higher for superstar girls in massage places". Those who do are a little bit like Ferrari owners. Again, you are perfectly entitled to dislike their Ferrari, but it doesn't change the price of this luxury car on the local market. It might be an indecent price for you, but that's not overpaying if it is the real value of a Ferrari on this market.

IMHO, you don't overpay when you pay the price of a Ferrari to buy a Ferrari, or the price of a Porsche to get a Porsche or the price of a Lada for a Lada. You overpay (for instance) when you pay the price of a Porsche for a Lada (and you look like an idiot when it's obvious that you are mistaking your Lada for a Porsche).

What is great in the Land of Smiles is that it's not uncommon to get a Mercedes-Benz for the price of a Lada (for instance, in the local brothels), or for the price of a Volkswagen (in establishments patronized by the middle-class Thais).

This is one of the reasons why lots of girls in this scene dislike farang who speak thai. They know they can't take advantage of him the same way they can the newbie tourist.

Thais pay less then foreigners, so actually they aren't paying all that much.

Guys, what you need to understand is that you can have quite a decent life in Thailand with very little money. The local prostitutes don't need to work much in order to satisfy their needs (actually, when they earn too much money by local standards, most of them spend a great part of the extra money in stupid things, for instance, they would gamble even more than usual, buy meta-amphetamines, etc.). They easily earn much more than the average wage. They usually don't try to earn as much money as possible.

The high-end girls probably have much less customers, and they might even earn less money monthly than the average freelancer (for instance), but that's not very important for them as long as it is enough to satisfy their own needs. Actually, I suppose that it's more or less about the same amount of money, but the high-end girls don't need to work as much as the average bar girl, freelancer, etc. That's also why the higher-priced girls are often the lazier ones.

That's true, but even if they pay "only" 3,500 baht instead of 5,000 bahts (for instance), that's still a very small minority in the Thai male population (who can afford those "superstar girls"), and the price they pay is very likely the real value (of those "superstar girls") on the local market.
