By the way, I did a quick search on the most dangerous cities in the world and Santo Domingo came up as #9 and #22 on the only two lists I looked at. The fact of the matter is that you can continually harp on the few murders a year that happen in Sosua but people get murdered in SD every fucking day. I've been to both SD and Sosua many times and I don't think either one is worse than the other but it is hard to compare a small town to a big city.
Neither place is "safe" by definition, let's face it the DR is a third world country and always will be. If one is not comfortable in places like the DR then one shouldn't go there.

From your post and some of your prior posts seems you have a very low regard for the Dominican Republic and Dominicans (you are free to visit wherever you want and post wherever you want, maybe if you visited different areas of the DR, and associated with other Dominicans you might have a better opinion of Dominicans and the DR. But it seems you spend over 90% of your time when in the DR in Sosua, Costambar and Puerto Plata, thus your overall negative view of the DR and Dominicans is based on your interaction with people in those places and time spent in those places. Probably, most if not all Dominicans you interact with are involved with prostitution).
I have never seen a report of a person getting fatally shot on the main strip in boca chica, in close proximity to mongers (as occurred recently in sosua). Give false info on what hotel were at. Claim we are going to spend time with our amigos before we see them. All of these tactics many of us have practiced before.
I'd rather just have an open upfront understanding with every repeat chica I know. I will contact you when I am ready to spend time with you. I guess it's hard to do it that way, especially when the chica you are avoiding is really special or has special talent you don't want to lose altogether?

The feeling like shit part comes from going to sleep at 6am, waking up 3hrs later, and not going back to sleep at all until 1:30 am, and then getting up at 4:15 this morning to catch my taxi to the airport.
We just did what everyone suggested: Stay out of El Centro at night, but if you do go then take a taxi directly to and from the club; try not to stick out too much wearing shit like gold chains and expensive watches, speak a VERY DECENT amount of Spanish, know where you are going and make sure your driver knows where he is going, etc.
But if you think you are going to go down there doing same shit you do in Sosua, you will definitely have problems and those problems will more than likely come looking for you. More to come in Mr. Gogo's forum. Stay tuned!
