They often have no other skill set.[/QUOTE]Yep this was pretty much my experience with BATS when I was on town. Only saw two girls I would do there in 2 trips. Both were real hotties and ended up taking them on multiple occasions. I later caught up with both of these girls at CJs an I think that is where they spend most of their time.

The rest could appropriately be described as hags.

CJs was much better and it seemed to be picking up with hotter girls before I left town as the holidays began to wind down. No wall to wall hotties or anything like that. Btu there will be 4 or 5 that are extremely doable and even one or two gems.

You guys seem to have upped the standard of your conversations in the last couple of weeks. It makes a pleasant change from listening to the details of so and so's latest enema which we seem to all too often hear. Full points to Ggekko2009 for his report on Golden Crown, It presents another side of Jakarta which can be exhilirating fun. And we don't always have to score miss universe. It's great fun listening to the fails as well. OS has had some good nights in that place and just like reported. The girls are so adept at cajoling obat out of you and then flipping you off before returning for taxi money at the end. And you want to see the look on their face when you refuse to give them taxi money. There was one thing at Mille's that used to hang around looking to rip off bules, OS called her snake eyes as she had one of those classic Javanese faces. OS made the mistake of taking her back to the hotel one night and man could she complain about the size of OS's big thing, ended up getting rid of her but also giving her the agreed 1 Mill which was stupid as she was rorting it right from the start.

Couldn't help but laugh at the bules with the ugly wives. My Indonesian wife and I are always laughing about this. Take your time boys and couldn't agree more with Goferring's assessment on how to maintain appearances. "Stay away from the girls darling" she will say. "Yes of course" OS will reply and then roar off in a cloud of dust on his way to North Jakarta. Some of the best advice I was ever given was deny, deny, deny!

I heard that BART (Bar at The Roof Top) located in Hotel Artotel Thamrin Jakarta has a lot of freelancers there. Anyone has any intel of that place? I just looked into Google Maps and it looks like a place for the millennials.

She doesn't ask and I keep it very discrete. No, she works in a good job and pays her way but obviously I am the higher income earner.

If she asked me to give up my travels I would but she would probably never do that. She even encourages me to travel. Once I went with an male relative of her's to a MP overseas that caters for us type of gentleman- pretty sure he got full service. I thought it was a test so I acted surprised and didn't take up the option. This relative is married to a member of my partner's immediate family and he seems to be getting some enjoyment too, with knowledge of his spouse.

Now not saying this would happen in every Asian / Western relationship but it does happen. If you are stuck with one of those fugly feminist white bitches I pity you. But did you know YOU do have an OPTION. Don't you?

Took grab to BART (Bar at The Roof Top) last night which is located at Artotel Thamrin. There was a live band playing but there was not much of a crowd that Thursday night. So, the hearsay about freelancers working there is not true at all. Anyway, the place was quite hip, more tailored towards the millennials with open area, pretty much like the Cloud lounge albeit at a much lower level. The cool air and low humidity makes this place a great place to chill out.

Anyway, I was able to strike up a conversation with a new, young, and very friendly waitress. She is from Bandung who just started work there three weeks ago and it was her first time to Jakarta, and was into clubbing and likes EDM. She offered me her WA info and asked me to bring her along the next time I hit all these clubs. Too bad I had already arranged myself a date (who am I kidding. An escort essentially and possibly with her good friend if her schedule lines up) for this weekend plus she had to work. Well there is always a next time. It is just amazing how I am able to easily build up this list of contacts for my future trip.

After a drink, I headed over to BATS (Bar at The Shangri-La). I have to admit that I had never been to BATS and just want to check out the place. My first impression of the lineup was a big Meh. The girls were definitely more mature than CJ. There were a few hot ones but in terms of quantity and quality, I think CJ's selection is much better. The only upside is that the live band was better and I think the drink was also slightly cheaper. It cost 150 K for a cocktail vs more than 200 K that CJ charges and also not get a watered down gin and tonic for that cover drink. One thing that I noticed is that girls outnumbered the guys that night. I didn't see many leaving with the guys in the bar that night. I even saw one girl trying to shake down an old white guy next to me for a tip. I asked him later what the damage was and he said about AUD10.
