i picked up the phone, dialed the front desk and asked for security. by the time i hung up the girls were gone from my room. when security arrived (18th floor) they said it was good that i called them, but they missed the girls passing them in the elevator. apparently this has happened before. interesting that in an extortion scheme they were asking for only about $20 each (not thinking very big). i headed back down to burgos an hour later and yes, there they were again, to dupe a future monger. the next gal i grabbed i had check in at the hotel with me, they took her id until she left.
the **** thing really scared me at first, but her reluctance to show it put it in doubt and the scam to light. anybody else run into this?

ask for ids, first and if they ain't in the shower almost immediately tell them to get lost. there are 1,000 ho's for every round eyed guy over there. i have been threatened with having cops called, beaten up by their boyfriends or ladyboy friends, and nothing ever happened in asia or s.america. they are used to pulling off their stunts because many mongers are lonely, scared and wimpy. it is always a good move to call the front desk as they will side with the guest.

I was in Manila last Saturday and I needed to fly south on Sunday. I had the hotel call and get my ticket, but I had to go to the airport and pay two hours before my flight @ 1530.
