In SP now. There is inflation of gdp rates. Everybody's rate is up by 50-100R / hr on web listings and at boites. There is so much influx of hot money into Brasil. Investors don't realize most people here buy things on installments etc because everything is so expensive compared to average incomes.
I have been in town one day and I am amazed at the prices. Last time here real to dollar was 4 to 1. Now it is 1. 50 to 1. In Sao Paulo until Sunday June 19. PM if you would be interested in meeting for a beer or dinner.

The difficulty of this place is getting to it if you are not staying in Moema. I got off the metro at Santa Cruz. I walked R Luis Gois which is downhill and through a pleasant neighborhood. It is about 3. 1 kilometers. Get walking directions using Google maps. Stopped to relax when I got to Moema and had a ham and cheese sandwich and a bottle of water at an outdoor cafe near the clinica. After finishing with Monica, I did not want to walk back uphill so I took a cab to Metro Santa Cruz which cost 20R for a 3 km trip. Because the streets are one way the taxi took many loops and it was driving me crazy. He actually went beyond the station and came back. I said something and he pointed one way. Reflecting later I realized that he stuck to main streets. I would not want taxis taking shortcuts through my neighborhood either. In fact we have a traffic commute problem with people taking shortcuts where I live.
Anyway I definitely recommend the place and Monica. As always your tastes and experiences may vary.

From Santa Cruz's metro station there's bus that can bring you close to Red Massagem. Unfortunately I don't remember the number of the bus line (the only thing I can tell you, it's the last bus stop near rua Loefgreen in the garage under the Santa Cruz Shopping Center / Metro station). It's the bus line desserving Moema (up to Morumbi shopping centre). You could get off at the corner of Maracatins and Avenida Moema. In a couple of years (2013/14) there will be metro stations on Ibirapuera, in Moema. They are under construction right now.

I recomend the official website of Sao Paulo Transportes (SPTrans) to move from / to an address or landmark. The problem may be the language cause the website is all in Portuguese but you may use Google Chrome or other browser to translate to you if it is the case. It gives you the main line as well as alternative lines, details and timetable of it, where you should get off the bus and you can chose to reverse your itinerary seeing which bus to take on your way back home.

First of all, if you're looking for termas (I. E. Rio's style venues) , just forget it because it doesn't exist as such in São Paulo. The best alternative is a clinica. As you said most clinicas will be closed today (23th). It's difficult to name (like that, out of the blue) a clinica without knowing the district, the bairro, where you'll stay while in Sampa. Just came from a 2 years stay in South East Asia. Could decode the Thailand, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Singaporean places. My first week of two years in SP.
Needs some help there from the gurus to get me sorted.
1) Go-go bar.
Is there such thing in SP, I was really appreciating this in Asia when in pickup mode. Definitivelly the best way to pick a girl that really attract you and also immediatly the one who are kneen on you, the one that look at you in the eyes, rather than the one that have a cow like gazing.
I don't know if those prive I read about are like that? The thing is in Go go Bar you can just enjoy your drinks and music looking at the girl with no extras.
2) Lady Bar.
These places where mostly you get freelancers, you pay them a drink have the time to discuss and get a feel with the girl. As the girl get a commission on the drink there are unlickely to butterfly arround.
Good value where you can enjoy one girl company and prepare the best pickup.
3) Disco with regular girls. Occasional hookers.
There are also some good place in Asia where student looking for money to pay study who go to hunt foreigners. Usually the best place to get both young attractive girls and the one that would deliver the best GFE
4) Massage place.
