I've been to BB twice and have a third trip scheduled this fall. This post does a great job of summing up my reasons for returning. Some guys like the thrill of the hunt they get in SU -- and that's cool. But I go to BB to relax, typically when I'm unwinding from an unusually stressful time at work. It's restful, restorative, inexpensive, and a lot of fun for not much effort. And Zebrok makes a great point about it being a friendly, welcoming place. The chicas, the staff, and the clientele are generally nice. And that adds a lot to the laid-back vibe of the place.

6. Everyone at BB is mad friendly.

SU got its draws too though.

Like you said, many more girls and you can find a few gems in there.

Not much to do at BB during the day if you don't rent a car and most people shouldn't do that especially on their first trip. Can always get into something in SU day or night.

Beaches in SU are better, both the beaches themselves and chica possibilities.

Really don't need a car in SU at all. Close to POP so the taxi fare aint that bad either. Close enough that I've had chicas drive me there no problem.

Food is surprisingly good in SU and there are many options. Without a car at BB you got like 10 places in walking distance during the day and like 5 at night.

I see it like this: BB is relaxing. Like people always say, its like shooting fish in a barrel. SU is exciting, can feel the electricity in the air at times. I do both and I do them solo almost exclusively. I can get by with my spanish. From NYC and grew up in the crack era so the danger kinda makes me nostalgic in a twisted way. The place aint for everyone though, especially if they got no wingman.[/QUOTE]

Been to BB twice when it was in its hay day10 years ago. They had a lively users group and a lot of vibe in those days with a monthly news letter. Even then I thought it was boring. I never saw more then 12 girls in the evening and most were very average looking. You to get in line for the attractive girls who were fucked to death. Once I went to Sosua there was no need to ever go back to BB. To each his own. I think for some guys BB is perfect. Not every one has social skills to interact with the SU girls.

Lot of things can change in 10 years let alone 1 year.

Mongering has been going down hill for the last ten years in DR. All over the Island. In SD many of the casas were shut down some owners jailed. Sex trafficing has become a major concern. BB has same mod of operation that it did 10 years ago. I think the talent and numbers were better back then. All that being said it bored the shit out of me. Waiting for the girls you want is serious drag.

Anyone have any pics, or could tell me which newsletter they are in?

Even as recent as 8 years ago Sosua still had rap video quality chicas all over D'Latins and the other clubs especially on the weekends. There were a few overweight girls but mainly the day walkers. There was a standard range of prices that seemed more than fair and the chicas for the most part were happy with that and there was some drama but it was still sort of rare.

It was hard for BB to compete against that especially all the way out in Costambar.

Now there is so much crappy drama and scheming in Sosua and the quality of the chicas has fallen so far (unless you like cows) that by default Blackbeards looks like a great option due to it maintaining standards over the years.

If you are young, like to party and want that adventure then Sosua is still best.

But if you are over 40, just want to relax, maybe you work online so you have something to do during the day and don't need to choose from hundreds of chicas and don't speak much Spanish then Blackbeards can be a great choice.

It all depends on what you want out of your vacation.

Was there labor day weekend with a buddy. Not many guys there for miss universe. Hennessy took the win seems to be a favorite there. Spent some time with jade. Amazing oral lots of eye contact. Knows how to ride. Hennessy. Amazing. Def knows how to work that tight body of hers. Has a very outgoing personality. Overall good food, nice room.

Hi and Hello, to my fellow travelers. I will be making my 1st trip to sosua in a week. I will be at BB for my bday on the 26th.

I want to thank everyone that took time out of there day to answer my questions and leave any tips.

I have read some of the reports and this place feels like Hong Kong in Tijuana (just in another part of the word).

I will be there Monday check in after 2 pm if anyone is there I will be shirt less enjoying the good life please stop by and say Hello,.

I will definitely be spending some time in jacuzzi maybe even a 5 some LOL.

If anyone has any tips on blackbeards to Max it out please advise.
