I broke my own rules and went to NLBT
I prevously posted that I would never go back to NLBT after a two year hiatus. Well, I broke this rule and went this past weekend.
My weekend trip began Friday night with a trip with my friend from San Antonio down to Ciudad Acuna and Hunters Ranch. Got down to the ranch at about 9:30pm. We immediately noticed that there were maybe 3 women in the whole place with a maximum of about 5 all night. This is the worst I have ever seen this place in terms of quantity of women. The waiters told us that the girls have quit coming because there isn't anymore business. That they are tired of taking the bus from various long distances such as Monterey and Tampico for no money. To make a long story short, this is the worst I've ever seen this place in 5 years which is pretty sad. We stayed overnight in rooms next door at the Rio Club. There were 2 girls in that club only all night.
The next morning my friend begged me to head down to Nuevo Laredo. I decided, what the hell, it's got to be better than Hunter's, so we headed down. Got a hotel at the Fiesta, which later proved to be in an excellent location. Close to Montera, Herradura, etc. We headed out first to Montera which had a lot of people. There were one or two nice looking women in there but most were not attractive. Had a couple of beers and headed over to Herradura. Very few people in there but we saw a nice looking older woman and took her down to the Blue Fox bar for a couple of beers. At 11:45pm, we decided to head on over to NLBT. I remember seeing these posts that say not to go past midnight. I felt pretty apprehensive about going. Got to the date right at around midnight and was happy to see no policia at the gate. We drove up to Danash. As we walked into the entrance, I was greeted by the Manager and several waiters that I knew from their working at other bars previously. We were treated like royalty. As soon as we sat down, the Manager had two of the most beautiful women over sitting on our laps. And let me tell you, they were stunningly beautiful. I had one that stayed with me for two hours and she literally danced in front of me the entire time. We ended up each with about 3-4 women hanging out with us. All beautiful.
We went next door (don't know the name of the place. It is to the left of Danash) where I met a girl I used to know that worked at Papaguayos. Beautiful girl with a friend. The bar owner in the establishment is great. He has a jukebox and will play anything you want to hear. We ended up having one of my waiter friends give us a ride back to Fiesta where we spend the night with the girls because the taxis don't run after midnight.
I have to say that this was one of the funnest nights I have had in South Texas. Never saw anything to worry about. Felt totally safe the entire time. Danash still has the hottest women on the planet and best waiters. The local clubs like Montera and Herradura were funner than hell. No more Acuna for me. I'll be going down to Nuevo Laredo from now on.
Hows the Blue Fox pricing?
I will be in the downtown area Friday afternoon and evening staying at the Motor Fiesta. I know Monterea and the HUrradura but never entered the Blue Fox. Is it reasonably priced or over priced for the drinks and girls. If anyone wants to meet up Friday then let me know and I will buy you a beer. I hope to see other gringos out and about.
Coming for the first time.
Been in Texas for three months and I am planning on visiting Nuevo Laredo for the first time this weekend. I use to go to Tijuana one weekend every month for the past five years. Thank you all for the amazing info. I have to admit I am a little cautious. Tijuana is actually safer than most of LA, CA. Laredo sounds a little more drama. Got all the info, Bridge one, Fiesta Motel and I have all the spots written down. And No NLBT after dark (?) Is anyone going to be around Friday / Saturday this weekend? I left my traveling partners back in Cali so I will be going solo. I am also coming from Midessa, eight or so hour drive. In Tijuana nobody checks anything going into Mexico. A little worried about the cop shakedowns. I am guessing Laredo is like Tijuana, the USA news has driven off alot of business, more for me. Any current news what not to do, go, or look out for? And should I take a Taxi from bridge to hotel?
Thanks
