OTH, we all need to keep in mind that there's many guys who live in the PI's who are on fixed gov pensions (and not all of them are old, plenty of young disabled vets) and need to be cheap out of necessity. If all you have is p35-50 K per month as an income then you tend to shop for the best values.

Second, there are plenty of programs here in the USA for vets and disabled vets to have a great life, without chasing women and drinking all day.

He said he did it there, he has a full time job as a aircraft technician and gets 2000 per month from his supposed disability! Another coworker says he has a bad hip, it gets him 850 bucks a month, he works full time job also which is very physical, as a matter of fact he is going back to the VA to get more money cause he heard of the latest scam where you tell the VA you are having insomnia and it is worth another 225 bucks a month, you fueled jets in the military and got jet fuel on you, that is another 144 bucks a month and these guys brag about this crap! Another friend fell out of a helicopter, did a little damage to his back, no big deal but he is getting 950 bucks a month for life and owns his own termite and pest company which has him running up and down roofs, crawling under homes, up in attics etc etc! There are many many more scams, I don't have any problem with the soldiers that got torn up while "protecting" our freedom, hell we should take care of these guys, but for the yahoos that scam our taxpayers, or for the guys that shined the generals boots for 20 years, or was a janitor in the barrocks retired at 38 only to go live in the Phills and chase women, drink and complain is utterly BS, So when you preach our veterans earned "every dime they get protecting freedom" that is a very small few in the military.

I had been planning a trip to Manila and Subic Bay for over two months. As usual, I RTFF to get updates, etc. And started emailing women on CL a month out to start getting contacts. I did run across a few 'free' postings on CL, but so many of them wanted 3000-5000 pesos for a ST / LT.
