I understand Ranchero1 is one of a few call signs for the owner / moderator of the other web site.
He alluded to be ex LE and sometime ex US Marines. Who knows what he is? He posted many disgusting pictures of girls getting facials. I objected to his demeaning of these girls and he got really mad at me.

Likely had a fetish for "money shots" he couldn't control so got defensive over it. Some say he was a smog tech rather than LE but most will never know. Don't hold your breath for more info likely won't be forthcoming.
As I typed this at 7:02 PM it is still light although the sun officially set a few minutes ago. Being a day tripper this is nice for the times that circumstances beg extended stays. As far as I'm concerned we can stay on DST year round. Your thoughts?
For years I would stay late but as I "matured" the realization came that it wasn't worth the pain and lately with all the homicides why risk a stray bullet if you are fortunate enough to make day time "bombing runs"? This applies more to the non bar guys who prefer the paraditas most likely. The day chicas appear to be more natural, appreciative and over all less rushed as the clock ticks during room time.
Nobody changed my monger game like R1. Never did SG, nor even knew Walkers existed. Took me a long time to figure out who he was. Since I was always looking for a African American guy. If what he told me is true, former Marine, former LEO, and if I remember right he said he did some type of work for lawyers or something. But as true to form with any monger all of it could have been a lie. He was not the owner of the other site, just a solid Mod and the best poster on any monger site ever. I learned many things about how the Zona works from him. We had some onsite differences, but never any cross words when we chatted in the Zona. Even after I stopped using the other site because of other Mods, and him since he was not a saint and held a grudge big time. I am super stubborn and hold grudges forever too. But like I said he never showed it street side, even when we would be chatting with mutual friends. It saddens me that a huge amount of intel will never hit any of these sites now that he is gone. Anytime I head south, I always popped on the other site to get the latest Walker Intel by R1. I hope that his death was at home and peaceful. I just hope someone out there will step up and do the job that he did for all of us. Hope he is enjoying eating peanut m&m's and giving jizz bombs to all those Tijuana ladies that have passed on over the years.
I've enjoyed using it continuously since the new Chaparral West re-entry to the USA opened. Today there was a sign (notice) before the turnstile Mexico side stating that in "early August" it would close "permanently". Sorry to see it go as I don't fancy having to cross the old river bridge, take the long walk on Mexico side only to cross back over the freeway to the trolley.
Those using the old crossing still have over 4 months however unless they bump up the date. More likely it will remain open longer than expected if it's a matter of construction.

He reminded me of Clayton Bigsby from the Dave Chappelle skit, with the added feature that he got off on finding the skankiest putas in the zona, and degrading them even more than they were used to. I wouldn't be surprised if he either got taken out in a bar fight, or by the padrote of some chica whom he posted wearing his jizz on the internet.

Suffice it to say, I would surely draw a line at emulating him, and I'm pointing out that no matter what you thought of him as a person, putting him up as some sort of role model is frankly stupid, and I've seen plenty of comments that have been doing that. And I certainly never hid from him what I thought of him while he was alive. I can assure you, I've toned it down compared to stuff I said to him directly. In any case, I'm done, since he won't be replying.

Frankly, I thought that was one of his more admirable traits.
Ped East works perfect for me many years. I would drive down SENTRI lane and drop my wing men off near the turn stile. He would walk through and meet me at the Jack In the Box in about 10 minutes.
Crossing via Ped West requires walking half a mile into that dark and deserted plaza full of closed down-shops and hiding places for rateros. They should have policia patrol the whole area, including the bridge. If people start complaining of robberies, they may post some cops.
