I don't expect to change the world and I know that people will always pay what they fell above the true price. All I ask is to be spared from having idiocy posts here in what is generally is an intelligent and entertaining P4P forum.
May I remind the rest that this is a public forum, so there may be some members that are on the ladies' side. Wink wink. So don't waste time trying to make sense of everyone.

Spaceman
This is very much true. Many of the members here are trying to spread disinformation for their own financial gain.
This debate over educating guys how NOT to overpay for young, hot, thin, Thai p*ssy (did I say thin?) is very interesting but I need to focus on something actually achievable, say, eternal peace between the Israelis and Palestinians.
Here is my reply to all who responded. If you agreed with me, then you understood what I meant. For others, let me elaborate. Excuse me for the xtra long post.
1. For those who complain: Do you really think that the market of buyers are composed of the few hundred here in this forum? That if we as a group enforced the prices, we would be able control the prices? There are thousands of men (and some women) who come to LOS for the pleasure of sex. They come from all kind of social backgrounds and all kind of wealth. For some 10K is chump change and for others even 100 Baht is a lot. Some consider the dark Isaan skin as a beauty while other prefer the pale skin of the Chinese. So, these men pay what they can afford and their perceived beauty level.
So, if I feel that a girl is a stunner, I might just pay a little higher price just to lay her. On the other hand, if I am running short of cash, I might a) bargain or be) walk away and look for another. Now if I bargain, I might not have a good time, because the girl may think "He is only paying so much, but I am worth more". Yes, you can always kick her out, but the time has been wasted. On the other hand, I might be able to have a good time at the bargained price. It is the luck of the draw.
2. Define stunner: When I posted what I though was good looking to me, a lot wrote back they were marginal. Not for me. I define stunner by attractiveness (it is different from beauty) and attitude. So, if you tell me I overpaid my choice, you would be incorrect. In my mind I paid for a stunner, which you define as ordinary. So where do we draw the line?
3. Go back to your country: What this means is when you go to the market and you feel the prices are high, you can either go to a different market or go back. Now, the airfares have been going up every year. Yet how many of you complain and not come. Same thing here. This is the age of internet and such. When too many punters are making a bee line for LOS, the supply and demand model starts playing. The girls know they can get better prices, if they hold their ground, because there is some other desperate punter waiting in line. The guys have a choice of picking from the pool. But they are only going for the stunners. So the price goes up.
If you are willing to pay extra, you can get the stunners early in the evening. Or wait till they have serviced 5 customers and are giving you "pity" chance at the end of the shift.
As far as I am concerned, if I have the money I pay for it. If I can get them to lower the price, great. If not I just go to the MP and get my rocks off. I am not here to marry them, am I.
So please stop whining and crying. It is an open market with all kinds of supply and demand. Find your niche and go for it.
Duniwala deserves a round of applause for a post so very well written, you got all aspects right in my opinion, just a small bit of advice from my personal experience, all girls in the market are aware of the prevailing prices, it is pretty standard in my opinion, for bar girls 2000B ST. 3000- 3500 LT, + extras, it's not really that you would go into one bar in Soi cowboy and find the world of difference in asking prices when compared to the bar next door, maybe a few 100B here or there.
I work in a service oriented industry (advertising and marketing) with a market where haggling / bargaining is the first order of the day, but as personal experience I have noticed as I would do the same, if someone was to squeeze me real hard for prices, I would either give them incomplete service or refuse profusely, where as if clients would agree to reasonable prices, I would give my best. Similar should be the behavior of bar girls, I always ask how much and offer for slightly lower, if they agree good enough, otherwise I would give them what they want and ask them for the best service in the end as that is what really matters in the end, for any tourist how much really will it make a difference in the end after say 20 lays. 200$ probably how much is that really worth these days.
I rather pay what they ask for, rather than pay slightly lesser and compromise on service. Also in one instance I was asked for way lower than the asking rate and ended up taking a LB home by mistake, who of course was thrown out later, but only I ended up wasting valuable time and ended up in a super spoilt mood.
I rather pay what they ask for.
Ended up taking a LB home by mistake
Great strategy. I'm sure they have some laughs over you.
"We all asked him for a ladydrink he said OK. We asked him for 2000 ST and he said OK. Then we told him all our families had sick buffaloes and we needed money for new ones and he said OK. Then we sent over a ladyboy who asked for a barfine and he still said OK. If only all our customers were like him!"
I work in a service oriented industry (advertising and marketing)
I. Ended up taking a LB home by mistake
Note to self; don't let citizen proof my advertising / marketing copy
Price is everything! The discussion is very valid. You don't like it, than keep your mouth shut!
OK, lets get this PRICE matter fixed once and for all.
Let's get a spreadsheet up and open with
Establishment, address, price LT / ST, Price+Barfine, Name, Looks Rating, In bed rating, Comments, posted by.
Its a well known fact this information is hard to come by, and bar owners don't want a league table up for all to see. We have AGODA for hotels, why not one for P2P?
If we can get such a board up, then we can steer members to the better places, and the less value places can wither and die. If you read the Expat comments, they hope large numbers come, drink lots of overpriced beer and pay more. Not come over fully wised up, that may or may not include their place.
Actually reports of distinction do this. Point out the exceptional. And it will take out the variables.
Well, if that is a fetish thing than I can understand that.
But, if a monger is just plain weak and pathetic, it's time for him to grow some balls and act like a man! Asia is a great place to redefine oneself if need be.
At age 63, with more than 100 trips to Asia and elsewhere under my belt, and surely more than 1000 women tasted, I realise suddently now, thanks to you, how plain and pathetic I have been all those years, while I thought I was enjoying life to the full. I really appreciate your advice to "redefine myself". Will surely give it some thoughts. Thanks again, without your so kind advice, I would surely have died "stupid". Now I am saved.
Disagree with you. Local price and availablity definitely plays a part in my decision where to travel and how long to stay in one place. For someone planning a trip soon, this information is invaluable. I'm not ultra rich nor below the poverty level but I like paying a fair price for everything. I think that there's a good chance that LOS won't be an affordable option in the next ten years and if crack and other drugs along with a sinking economy continue to take hold in North America, cheaper fun will be only available here. But I have a thing for SA woman, so I hope it never becomes 10, 000BT LT and 3000BT for a single pop. Once a girl gets paid 4000 bt LT, she will never lower her price.
What is useless is the opiniated debate about what people should do or not do.
Nobody argues with the fact that information about price is useful. But useless are the rants betwen people who disgaree. Read back the thread. 10 pages, or 100 pages back, and you will see periodically the same old debate. That is useless.

Spaceman
. And proud to say it!
I do not monger "against" the women, but because I love them, all of them.
I don't see myself as part of a crusade of men against women.
I don't see all women as trying to cheat me. I see them as human beings who appeal sexually to me.
I feel I have far more in common with women in general than with a subgroup of guys, on this forum or elsewhere, who are contantly whining about the women they want to screw.
So I may be different from some? Can this be understood, or even accepted? Obviously not by some.
And for the suggestion that I have some financial interests, that's. Ludicrous.
.
So I may be different from some? Can this be understood, or even accepted?
If you want to spoil women then that is your business, but when you come onto a board where the majority of guys are against spoiling girls and trying best to keep prices in our favorite mongering destinations reasonable, you're going to get slammed. Probably best to keep your financial contributions clandestine.
Haven't posted here for a while, but feel its a good time to add my 2 cents worth.
I've been in 3 relationships with Thai women. 1 had a p4p background whilst the other 2 worked in the hotel industry, I've also had many one nighters with the local p4p.
Two things I've learned.
Thai women take kindness and generosity as a weakness in men and will ride him for every baht he is worth.
The two non p4p Thai women I had relationships were not that different to the many p4p girls I spent time with, they were just as calculating and sneaky as their p4p counterparts, they knew that their hairy magnet between their legs, was their ticket to wealth.
What have I learned? Treat them mean keep them keen!
What I mean by this is be fair, be firm, and as soon as you get that feeling that you are being "milked" come down like a ton of bricks.
The saying of "spare the rod spoil the child" applies doubly to women especially Thai women.
I think it is ok to describe experiences, prices paid (either willing or extorted)
Common sense should then suggest that there is no point in adding comments such "you are cheap charlie","you overpay"
The forum has a huge level of information so anybody can form an opinion wehther someone is a non sense spender or a short handed cheapo.
Both extremes are maybe no good but this belongs to their area of freedom.
I feel some indulge in the price critciscm as a sport.
Just like those looking for the super cheap exhange rates or esxcaping from bank fees (like it or not banks are profit seeker institutions). Maybe walking miles to get a 0. 0001% better rate or spend transportation money for a 100TB saving.
Live and let live.
The big spender or the cheap charlie will not change their attitude and, as said here, the small percentage of ISG readers compared to the "buying" market is irrelevant to the market prices.
The newbie. If RTFF. Will see whether the price he sees being paid (ie 5000tb) is above average as he will read other posts mentioning 3k or 2k for the same services.
Usually the big spender clearly mentions he is a big spender.
A cheap charlie will reveal himself too, so there will nto be any misunderstandings, if one is capable to read through.
So everyone should keep on posting reports, describe the action and quote the price one pays.
Period.
I felt happy to pay 30TB less (by giving him less) to a taxi driver that was trying to cheat me ("I pay motorway" when actually he then did not take it) as I felt ok to pay 1000TB to barfine a girl to let her go out one evening for fun, with nothing in return.
Most important is to be happy of what one does.
