Rio de Janeiro Reports

Hey fellas,

So, I was wondering what the more enlightened of you out there think about the idea of buying and stashing Reals in preparation for a 2016 Olympics trip to Rio? I'm sure the Real is going to rise against the dollar as the Olympics get closer, right? Given that it is about 3:1 in favor of the dollar, I figured now would be a good time to start. Thoughts?

Rental Apartment. Check.

Miles for Flight. Check.

ISG Membership. Check.

Olympics Tickets. Requested.

I haven't been to Brazil since 2010, so, I'm looking forward to the return. Hopefully, the Visa fee will be eliminated by then!

Which there is in some parts of Rio-certain favelas. And the general mood in Brazil is one of anger and revolt.

Exec Talent. I started mongering too late in life and only went to 1 trip so far. I made use of the wealth of knowledge and this is a great source of inspirations by the greats. So I did go on my Carnival trip and as soon as I came home, wanted to give back to "society". Hahah. I did put the below report.

Carnival was great. Took the train from the hotel in copa. No issues, took the bleachers ticket. Purchased the tickets for $225 at the travel agencies.

Went to MC - 3 nights in a row.

Went to Centaurus and didn't like all the "up on the face" and girls jumping straight at you. So MC was perfect. 3 days before Carnival, there were approx 5-7 guys with around 25-30 girls in MC. I had very good attention. Julia (I caller her that. She is a look alike of Julia Roberts. She was shy, most of the night she was reserved. So I had to go and bring her to my seat.). I sessioned with her more than 3 times. I did 1 session of Dupla. On my second night all of them were wearing "Carnival" themed costumes.

I was worried about tourist crowd, but none of them were issues. Ivan the manager at MC was "super nice".

Not all of them spoke English, but after few beers, sign language worked for me.

So now I have my opportunity for a second trip. I won't get another in another few years. So confused. Should I just go back to the same place (Rio) and keep it simple. Or should I go to Argentina and Sampa. Those are my confusions.

I have read this thread every day for years. My preference has been Argentina but many times I have been told by taxi drivers and restaurant waiters that. If you think ladies here are great you should go to Brazil. WOW Ok Now I am planning a trip to RIO. I have looked back in the posts for years and most are not useful to a traveler that needs help looking for PFP in RIO. Think about it. If I have an apartment or a room in a hotel either way I need info for a place to go got pussy. Some including me are interested in street walkers. Come on guys give us some help. HELP HELP.

PFP is easy in Rio. All Termas you can meet girls outside, All call-ins exist-what do you need help with exactly and what don't you understand?

You will find 3 or 4 on Av Atlantica that are 9.5 times out of 10 not worth your time or money. In other areas such as close to Lapa and Botafogo, the SW are really guys. Also, I don't recall ever seeing a SW in Rio go with a guy who was not in a car. I don't think guys on foot even talk to them.

Not because Hotrod10 deserves any help, but maybe somebody else needs some street-walker information.
There are many places in Rio where there are SWs. The majority in parts where you propably won't go.

As mentioned there are SWs in Copacabana, on Av Atlântica. A couple of moths ago I did a count of the Copa-SWs when walking home. Over thirty. Some looked quite nice. Beware that some of these SWs in dresses are not women. These SWs wait for customers in cars, but of course you can walk up to them, negotiate and bring them back to your place. I've picked up a few and so has my friends. Good price and nice quality.

Caution: Do a good screening and interview before. Some of the SWs are sweet and nice girls, others are tough hardcore ones with a knife in their handbags.

I am going to Rio for a week at the end of May and promise to write a good report when I get back. This forum was a huge help to me so I will be glad to pay my dues! I have been reading it for 2 months and I guess I am pretty prepared for the trip and know what to expect. I speak no Portuguese so my only option is Copacabana and its termas. I mongered a few times in the past. In Boca Chica last year, also in Prague and Kiev. It will be my first trip to Rio. The only problem is that travelling solo comes with some inconveniences. I wonder if anyone of the members happens to have the same plans. It would be great to connect and help each other. I am 44 year old, active and easygoing. Please PM me if interested or for any questions.

You will be ok there without Porto and you can get cab back from outside.

When I first came to Rio 2 years ago I knew zero Portugues and I went to those places. Its a gentle start. More ghetto spots you need more experience to frequent to reduce the risk of being ripped off.

MC, Solarium, Centaurus are expensive but "safe" bets.

You live in a multilingual mostly literate world. Most Americans are lucky if they speak and write intelligible English, forget about proper. Americans expect everyplace to be like the United States and get upset when it is not. If they had to ask a streetwalker the location of the nearest bathroom, they would end up pissing on themselves.
