Wilt our the glass is half empty amigo
I hope the guy who "snagged" Wendy is legitimately rich so he can take the loss in stride. I am guessing the words "up front" appeared on his Google translate.
Coming back to the language thing, the shit that gets me are the guys who live in a country and / or have a girlfriend there for a year or more and still speak shit for Spanish. I mean, not to say most relationships between tourists and locals aren't anyway, but that seems like a sure sign this "relationship" was just a series of cash and dick deposits.
Whomever Wendy's novio is, one thing you've got to admirer is that he found what he wanted and he bought it. I assume he is strong enough to take responsibility for his choices and never claims to be a "victim" even if the sole shareholder in Wendy's Inc defaults on her contractual obligations or fails to meet the novio's expectations. But he's getting a slice of her life at her sexual peak. Any "loss" is impossible if you have no expectations. Ride it as long as it lasts, pun intended.
I am personally offended by Wilt's comment and conclusion about "shit" Spanish speakers like me. That hurt. I give out a few scholarships and one of the requirements is ability to carry on a basis conversation in English at the end of three months of a course. That choice tells me if a girl is serious about improving herself and allows me to have a relationship and maintain a pathetic level of Spanish.
Only good energy Walt, we agree I'm sure, Wendy's novio is in for a hell of a ride
