I need more info about the The famous taco stand around the corner of Coahuila and ninos heroes?
The tacos are great the place is always busy and I eat there every time, but last week I ate like 5 tacos at night and I woke up next morning with bad abdominal cramps that made me sweat in pain and I'm not joking! It took 5 Immodium and pepto bismol in one hour to stop the suffering.
I think this time I got a batch of bad tacos or maybe was the sauce. Is this stand safe to eat often or should I look somewhere else safer and cleaner?
The tacos here are great-but this corner looks filthy and I always ask myself did the cook ever wash the towel he uses on the meat block?
Trust me salmonella or ecoli can ruin your fun big time, that morning was terrible for me returning home and driving back and waiting in the fast lane with painful and urgency that makes you think you will pass out because of the pain.
I can only wait in cold sweat for imodium to start working.
I had the cab stop while I ran into Piri. It wasn't too late but he was closed. I like Viagra because it's the non-generic, but figral works just as well. I buy the 50 mgs because I only need about 25 MG and I've heard with the 100 MG generics they are bad at ensuring the active ingredient is spread out over the entire tab, so you might get a lot out of a half or none in the half you chew. So I get the 50 MG. A 50 MG of viagra in states: $30 each.
Hahahhaa. Funny. But read this. 11% of the trial sample got a har don with a sugar pill. Now that is funny. Power of suggestion is a powerful force.
Results.
Ten randomised controlled trials fulfilled the inclusion criteria (2123 men given sildenafil and 1131 placebo). NNT or NNH were calculated for important efficacy, adverse event and discontinuation outcomes. Dose optimisation led to at least 60% of attempts at sexual intercourse being successful in 49% of men, compared with 11% with placebo; the NNT was 2.7 (95% confidence interval 2.3 to 3.3). For global improvement in erections the NNT was 1.7 (1.6 to 1.9). Treatment-related adverse events occurred in 30% of men on dose optimised sildenafil compared with 11% on placebo; the NNH was 5.4 (4.3 to 7.3). All cause discontinuations were less frequent with sildenafil (10%) than with placebo (20% Sildenafil dose optimisation gave efficacy equivalent to the highest fixed doses, and adverse events equivalent to the lowest fixed doses.
Saturday morning 3 girls in street clothes were in front of Mermaids luring guys in. They looked nice clean fresh without make up on their faces.
Quality of girls in mermaids has improved somewhat, but they present the girls in street clothes, so they may not look so attractive with their clothes off. They used to charge $60 for 1 hour of massage; any sex is extra, adding another $60 to $80 tip to the girl, which is steep.
You can get 45 minutes combined with massage and girl full service for $80. Jimena at Mermaids is pretty amazing- real GFE and no drama.
It's very dusty and filthy around that taco stand. The guys would handle raw meats and tortillas, and never wash their hands. The only time I got the stomach run was with the guacamole sauce, which is rich, creamy and acid neutral, good medium for bacteria to breed.
A safer food place would be the taco restaurant next to the cart. It's a little cleaner and the environment is better controlled. They no longer have the taco Al Pastor meat in the spit, but serve all sorts of other kinds of juicy meats. You can also sit down on tables to enjoy your food, recommended.
Other than that 1 time, I never had stomach problems in Tijuana.

It would not be surprising if some sort of nasty microscopic creatures within the tacos (or toppings) caused your problems. Some people will only eat cooked food in Mexico because of that very concern. That being said, I've been to many of the Zona Norte street vendors and have never had a problem.
Five tacos is a lot. I used to eat 3 per meal, now I can only eat 2 or I will have symptoms similar to what you describe.

These two remedies can be taken separate and are proven to provide relief by neutralizing and expelling harmful parasites and toxins from your body. Pepto and Imodium only mask the symptoms and do not address the underlying cause. Research "activated charcoal and pure oregano oil" (WebMD, etc) to gain valuable information about these products. Activated charcoal can usually be found in GNC, Vitamin Shop, etc. I purchased my oregano oil from Whole Foods, the product line is called "Now essential oils".
Thanks captain, HorseT, MongerH. Appreciate your advice about eating in Tijuana.
This time was worse than I thought.
I arrived home feeling better that day but the next day my trip to the toilet had mucus with some light streaks of blood with a strong fish odor, sorry guys for the details.
I did everything right to avoid getting food sick I always do when in Mexico I even washed my cilantro twice with Ciel bottle water.
The cilantro came with a lot dirt you don't want to eat dirt.
I used to think you can't get sick with grilled meat straight from a hot grill but like Captain said the cook has dirty hands and keeps picking up raw meat and the tortillas at the same time and never cleaning his hand, very good observation Captain!
I'm an older 50 yr old guy my stomach and guts are not as strong as when younger so I have to be very careful what I eat. If I have to pick a culprit I'm moving toward the red hot sauce or the tortillas contaminated with raw meat.
Hilarious that same night I was thinking skipping the tacos and getting the Chinese from the alley just to know which one would kill you faster! My experience with food poisoning twice in Ensenada eating the seafood from the poison carts. The local Mexicans told me it is common to get food sick in Ensenada but not in Tijuana? Few years ago I got really sick in Santa Barbara with a packed potato salad from a supermarket. That same night got shakes, chills and fever that was one mean salad.
I once was told from a Ucla Dr who told me the reason some people eat bad food and they don't get sick is because they have formed an inmune to protect them from bacteria, this doctor also told me most people in 3rd world countries have parasites living in their guts and they don't even know it.
So for me back to eat chips and milky ways from oxxo.
Welcome to sunny, warm, dry Tijuana and the hot, sexy La Zona Norte.
If you still have time, you should walk East on Coahuila alley, South on Constitucion, then East on Calle 1, checking on street girls on the way to the Arc. Quite a few street girls would turn heads in LOS Angeles. Stop by the plaza next to hotel Nelson and the Arc, where there are usually music and performances on weekends. Walk South on Revolution, check out gift shops, restaurants and bars, take pictures with the famous donkey that is rumored to have starred in Tijuana's sex shows hehe.
You can visit a doctor on Revo, have prescriptions and buy all sorts of medicines for about 25% US prices.
I didn't know about the street girls on Calle 1. I've only been shopping for girls in the alley behind HK. How does Calle 1 compare to the HK alley? What are the best times to visit Calle 1 for SWs? I've been up and down Ave Constitucion and Revolucion but never ventured down Calle 1. How many girls does one typically find there on a Friday or Saturday evening? How late can I walk down Calle 1 before I need to start really worrying about my safety? When you find a girl on Calle 1, do you usually just take a taxi for the both of you back to Hotel Cascadas or whichever hotel you're at? How do the prices on Calle 1 compare to the HK alley prices? Why are the Calle 1 girls not working in the HK alley?
Where does one find doctors on Revolucion? Do they just hang out in the pharmacies? Or do you just look for clinics and ask to see a doctor in a random clinic? How much do the doctor visits usually run to get a scrip for something? Do they give you a paper scrip that you carry to the pharmacy to get filled?

I do get heartburn if I take a chica upstairs right after devouring those tacos, for some reason I keep burping the smoke from the grill for hours, I always skip the onions and the green stuff from the 5 gallon bucket they call guacamole?

I'm seriously considering bringing my own boring sandwiches from home until I can find a safer place to eat.
OK, what you guys think are places safe to eat in the zona norte or any other clean place with great food, also I have no problem taking a taxi to a better place as long is not too expensive or too fancy just a to-go place while my cab driver waits for my order to be ready and just bring it back to my hotel.
I only had food from the taco stand I previously mentioned and the small place right next to hotel Coahuila where AB girls eat. Where can I find good fresh big burritos with flour tortilla and french fries, I'm a little tired of eating tacos and corn tortillas so I want to try something different.
I also like the Mexican tortas which is a sandwich in soft Mexican bread with grilled steak or fried breaded steak.
I want to hear the culinary pros here the real food lovers LOL!
