Besides the 'it-breaks-the-mood' reasoning for not discussing details in the bar, here is another reason I've been given (which does not seem to hold water -- to me): You can't force a girl to stay the night, she is not required to do so. Her only requirements are to either sex you once, or spend a few hours with you. While that is technically correct, there are some things you can do to either eliminate taking this girl in the first place (by finding out before hand if she intends to depart early), or persuade her to stay the time intended. Those things include at least these:

1. Discuss details with her in the bar. Be clear your expectations.

2. Discuss the details with the mama, preferably in front of the girl.

3. Photograph the girl's ID.

4. Photograph the girl (I don't take them unless they've agreed to that in the bar w / mama).

5. Do not go bar hopping with the girl before going to the room. The most time you should spend outside the room (before your first pop) is time enough to stop for some fast-food (takeout) for the girl. While these situations sometimes go well (she spends the night), nothing says "I set myself up to fail" when she just departs after spending several hours bar-hopping with you (and without even going to your hotel), especially if you didn't do #1 & 2 above. Complaining to the mama later will simply draw an apology (at best) and a smile from her face: you f*cked up. You can always take her bar hopping after your first pop.

While none of these can guarantee a non-runner, each of them in turn either greatly reduces the likelihood of running (or not performing as requested). BTW #2 above catches the occasional liar. During #1, she agreed to stay until 10 am (not knowing that we would run thru the list with mama / waitress later). Once chatting mama, the girl packpedals: "Oh no. I go 6 am. Hehe". Sorry mama, she lied. I'll be taking my money back now.

Here is another reason I've been given for not doing the above: It takes too much time or its too difficult. I could be wrong, but #1 takes about 20 seconds (total: she will either say yes or no to my list), #2 takes 20 seconds, #3 takes 10 seconds. I am going to do #4 anyway, but even if you don't intend to take nawty pics, you can take 10 seconds to take just one naked pic of the girl (be fun about it, take a selfie of you and the girl together on the bed). All the steps above can take a combined 1 minute. I know, I know: its not romantic. But its a relatively successful strategy, as is Sir Lance's nearly opposite strategy.

Anyway, after the 1st shag if everything went well; that is the time to go out and get something to eat and/or drink.

Since this is the Manila thread I will mainly address the issue as it relates to Burgos Bar girls. Running is much less a concern with Burgos girls than AC bar girls. That is because all parties agree that ST and LT are separate service options and available at different prices. You and your girl have to decide beforehand if the takeout is going to be 1 to 3 hours or overnight. There is no EWR on Burgos. There is a barfine that is put on your tab, equivalent to 10 Tequila shots, when you decide to take a girl out. Any lady drinks you bought for the girl previously that night are included in and not added on top of the barfine. You must pay your tab before you leave the bar with your girl. Then there is a separate "Tip" or service charge to be agreed upon privately and paid directly to your girl AFTER her service is rendered. This arrangement, much like the one in BKK and Pat really works better nowadays than the set up in AC. Once upon a time, only a few years ago, the AC system was great because it was really cheap and because the girls did not cheat. LT was the accepted norm. But some girls have bitten the apple, gone bad, and started cheating. For that reason pre-negotiation is sadly becoming necessary in AC. But pre-negotiation is not sufficient IMHO to having a good session. The customer still has to contend with under-performance issues. This leads to...

My # 1 procedure: I always interview/audition my prospective girl. THIS IS THE KEY TO HAPPINESS. I always like to test drive my girl and in my favorite Burgos bars (and some AC bars) this is not only possible; the good girl, the girl who wants me barfine her, encourages it. In Bottoms, for example, the girls wear narrow suspenders over their nipples as a top. Usually within a minute or two of my asking a girl to sit down at my table or booth, she will fling her suspenders to her side and offer me her nipples to kiss. From there a steamy audition/tryout begins. Two Tequila shots later I am pretty sure what I am going to get back in my room and I have never been disappointed except in those rare situations when her pussy turned out to be too large or I didn't notice a bad smell emanating from down there. First trip to Manila last week. I am not a newbie in the general sense as have trawled fairly extensively over the years in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Dubai and Pattaya (that is my order of preference). Anyway a small correction finally hit Manila mid-week and with biz commitments ended up with only one night of action. Stayed at Marriott which is over-priced but very handy for the airport. First stop EDSA, Passay. Went to Firehouse and Pitstop. This was <9 pm and I was basically only customer in both. Compared to LOS was struck by overall quality of lady's dancing in GoGo type establishment. Classic "barrel" shape (distribution of quality not actual shapes) so few real stunner's, few low end but plenty of middle quality. Being only customer qualified for lots of attention and plenty of frisks. Bought a few lady drinks, but not too pushy and moved on. But generally the quality of these two places was better than I had been led to believe from RTF.

Moved onto Emrita and following the teachings of Lancelot et al and homed in on LA Cafe. Huge variety of ladies. BTW I had feared a long journey stuck in traffic getting from Passay to Emrita but none of it, took 20 -25 minutes only. Once inside drinks reasonably priced and little or no pressure to buy lady drinks. Perhaps my imagination but bar seem to be divided up by males Western, Asian, Middle Easter perhaps. Anyway so what. Lots and lots of ladies of all qualified ages and I think plenty of pro's, semi-pros and real amateurs. Scouted up stairs but waste of 100 Peso's. Spoke to large number of ladies and nearly all very amusing and entertaining in that uniquely Pinay way. Bought a set of sexy triplets (yeah right!) a round. Very appreciative, no hard sell but all ready and willing. Could easily have selected + 20 women but eventually had to make a choice. Hooked up with two ladies who were cousins. One mid 20's, a real stunner some Spanish mixed in with Pinay. Other bit older was a part-timer and goes to college in Makati one day a week and hits LA Caf as soon as the lectures (nursing) are done. Not as hot but a laugh a minute and could not resist that, so she was the lucky one. Wanted 4,000 but I said 3,000 and she accepted with no quibble. Probably could have gone <2,000 but that not my way and turned out to be great value IMHO at 3,000. Total GFE, all nighter, multiple pops and enthusiastic in every sense. Sense of humor was fully intact next morning a real great "girl next door" I would say. Solid 7.5/10.

I realise that there is nothing insightful in this report but for certain LA Cafe exceeded my expectations (based on RTF). For sure "one swallow does not make a summer" but no question I will be back here and the only slightly similar bar that I am familiar with is that Beer Garden place around Soi 7 in Bangkok. But LA Cafe is off the scale compared to that place.

Went to L. A caf last night. Got cornered by a short round FL who spoke in a well mannered demeanor. Her makeup was classy and well done unlike the other gals. Bought her an LD and we got chatting. She asked me my background, vacation or work etc, how many times I had come to LA Caf and if I picked up a gal last time. Soon offered to give me a massage for "One Thousand P". I asked her to repeat because I was surprised at the perfectly quoted street price that didn't require haggling or negotiation. Went back to LA Caf and headed upstairs to where the live band was playing. While turning I noticed she was telling her friend with a grimace how I had caught her trick and was an old timer who could not be scammed (lip reading of course).

Since I positively felt sick and tired by now, refused another gal who came over to my table and headed back to my room shortly later.

And it has no "cover" at all. LA Café has few nooks and crannies and just a much more welcoming place. Much better for cruising and perusing.

Maybe it has to do with a trend in Thai women finding work abroad rather than seek their fortunes locally.
