The area around hotel Velario is run down and dark at night, a long walk from hotel Cascada, known to be sketchy with robbing cops, choke holding rateros and pre-op / post-op transexual hookers.
Hotel Hacienda de Santiago on Coahuila is nice, clean, quiet, relatively safer, in a nice, clean, well lighted area, with policia on foot patrol along Coahuila and at intersections.
Velario thing is true. Velario rooms are great though.
I could not find this Hotel Hacienda on google. At least not oh Coahuila. Can you post exact address please? Never seen it and would love to stay there. The Cascadas guys keep increasing prices and are a rip off.

It would be good if we create some competition for the Cascadas / HK mafia.

Came to know recent killings in zona norte, things got very bad compared to a year ago, all these happening in club zone now.
I'm reconsidering my travel, not worth to travel from midwest.
Hotel Hacienda has a few different sizes of room, some with fridges and stoves, $25-30, with weekly discount etc. Including parking.
Hotel Leyva next to Chicago Club, $22-25 including parking. The old wing shares a wall with Chicago, with music thumping all night. The new wing is quiet with bigger rooms.
Both hotels are in cleaner, better, safer area close to the bars and the alley. Both are owned by the same family. Their prices sure beat Cascada's $55 single.
Cum in Tijuana has been around for long time and has always been good. I don't use escorts anymore but have a few times in the past. I find it more entertaining to go to red light area and meet girls at the bars. http://www.cumintj.com/.
Thanks for the advice! I'll check them out.

Single rooms are around 50 to 60 pesos less per night and the costs of weekdays (Mon. -Thurs.) is also around 50 to 60 pesos less.
The Leyva family owns both Hotel Leyva and HDS and they frequently change their (reasonable) rates.

Still decided to come down but cutting my trip shorter than I had originally planned. There have always been shady characters around but there are so many now I can't even keep track. I just power walk everywhere and keep my head on a swivel but it can get tiring always being on egde like that. I'm also walking in the middle of the streets.
I do see some new faces on the streets so that's nice. I think the looks of the street girls have improved as well, either that or my standards are dropping, probably a little of both. There are some pretty ones on constitution ave, I took two that work out of the hotel el legado, Kelly is a 20 year old from Veracruz, she has sexy dark tanned skin. Another one I took up is Kristal, she's 21 from the. Df. She's got braces and looks like she could be a teen model, I was surprised how pretty she was. Her body has some damage from 2 kids though. 200 pesos for both for straight sex, less than 12 bucks right now with the exchange rate so can't complain. This hotel is pretty nasty though, don't take off your socks!
Have taken a few from the alley as well, nothing really memorable but took up a girl named Blanca in the alley because she looked just like a girl I barfined in the Philippines five years back, so I had to take her up for memories. Jet black hair, kinda Asian looking, said she's 26 from Puebla. Was wearing thigh high stockings. She was the only one that asked for payment first, all others I paid after. I actually like the girls on constitution better for some reason, less clock watching and friendlier.
Went to Hong Kong as well, always a good time for a while until I start to get anxiety from all the hustle going on. There is some top level talent walking around, anyone know who the light skinned black girl with the pierced nipples is during the day? Didn't take anyone up though because I can get 80 dollar screws where I live, got a couple regulars from night shift, so not going to pay 80 or more in Mexico.
Still looking for a place to chill between sessions, the best place I can find is the Bar Nelson but that's getting boring. Any suggestions on where to refuel between sessions that is close to the zona but not too close? Or is Bar Nelson as good as it gets?
Cascada's rack rate for singles is $55 week days and $65 weekends. Damn robbers.
They charge $17 or 280 pesos for 30-minute with HK's girls, but only $5 or 80 pesos for 20 minutes with alley girls in the same ST rooms on second floor. The hotel gives out 25% commission to the girls for room use.
Rates for HK chicas and Cascada's rooms are just way too high for the market. There are way too many chicas in the club competing and most have been doing very little business. The poor girls just hang out for weeks without making any fichas or sex money.
Hot street girls working in HK have all struggled and complained. A few very hot HK girls went to work in the alley for lower rates but with reliable higher volumes.

Cutting trip shorter is good strategy.

Even prettier than Ximena, though without the height. I co-sign your assessment; girl model looks all the way. She doesn't provide much as far as GFE, but I guess that's to be expected from most street girls.
I've been virtual-mongering vicariously through you all here on the Tijuana board for the past year and have finally booked my return for May 20. I can almost taste the pussy as I type this!
