Junior doesn't work well when I am drinking. I also don't eat a heavy meal too, that's also a boner killer. But in hind sight being overweight is the true killer of everything including your life. Going to start walking then then eventually running again like I did in the military. One thing I did do that i am proud of is to stop smoking cigs....thats the fast track to the cemetery. I used to bring some money and had my ID and passport in my car as I used to drive down to Tijuana in my old Toyota. I dress pretty much like a hobo, tee shirt and shorts or sweat pants, I just always make sure I have good hygiene and smell good for the ladies. I never dress up though, my car is also very old and beat up looking and I find the cops leave me alone most of the time. I might have my debit card in my shoe, and never carry more then $300 in cash on me, pretty much what I am willing to part with. Also and this is very important, never ever get drunk or get high at the strip clubs / brothels, that's a fast track to disaster. Do your drinking in the states or elsewhere, I have been robbed before when I was passed out by a waiter friend of mine, also a couple of the putas robbed me in the past although they all never admitted it LOL.

He released me and I punched him in the face, he ran and I chased him for just a little bit as I could no longer put eyes on him. If I would of caught him I would have beat him to death, I am an amateur welterweight boxer in USA boxing Masters Division. I have had sanctioned bouts. You are probably wondering why he selected me. For one I am only 5' 6" at 152 lbs. Number 2, I was alone. Number 3, I ventured off the main drag, number 4, I was new to Tijuana and probably looked it. Since that incident no one even looks at me twice and I do the same mistakes now except for I am a veteran now. I am also very polite to all Mexican Nationals. Or maybe I made my bones. My advise if you are concerned about your safety would be to go with someone, stay on the main drag and you will have nothing to worry about.
You are my favorite light beer down there! I can about guzzle these and not get phucked up.

I am glad you escaped unscathed. Nobody wants to get roughed up but you would have made pulp out of him for sure. At night I never stray from the 1 block area. In the day I do walk around (went to downtown passing the church) last Nov. and felt very safe. Plenty of chidden and families out bright and sunny. However at night when shops all close there are no safe refuges or other people to see what bad night people in the streets do!

This is the main street for places like the Hong Kong, Adelitas etc. There is a street behind it it that has more bars like La Carreta. These 2 streets are well lit and very safe. This was my first night as an official mongerer in Tijuana. I had done a recon mission during the day with an American girl a month or two before. The only thing I remember was having a shot of Tequila at Adelitas then walking off the two streets I described. It was not well lit. I cannot give you a location now but it was not far away. A Mexican man larger than me by several inches and many pounds choked be from behind trying to get me to pass out then rob me. They usually work in teams of two. After I pulled him down and faced him he looked very frightened before I hit him. I believe he was a desperate Heroin attic that desperately needed money for a fix. He got nothing but a right cross. I am probably the most peaceful person you can ever meet outside a ring. I am of Italian decent and can have a very bad temper when provoked. I do not recommend handling things the way I did. A Mexican girl approached and asked me if I was alright. I told her that I wanted to know where to find this guy so I could kill him. This was a very stupid thing to say. I then had a beer with her and she stole my phone. I then realized how stupid I was and stayed in my Hotel room for the rest of the weekend.

But the street on the east side that goes uphill if you were walking to the arch and hotel nelson. The ones that got me were group 6 at least 2 woman. They were well dressed deportees going out to the bar because it was midnight on a Saturday. It would gotten over it by now but I have huge scar on my head from these people that may have cost me normal relationship opportunity since.

A don't clearly remember the specific details of another incident that someone told me a couple years back. It had something to do with a gringo tourist being to close to a drug dealer and the cops thinking the bystander was buying drugs. It could have been a setup I have no idea. But I just remember being shocked and it just makes me a bit paranoid when I am in Zona Norte. Especially on the streets.
I was down there in Zona Norte with a buddy a couple months ago and just to play it safe instead of walking around the block to get to Azuls from the front of HK we walked upstairs to Cascadas's up to the third floor and crossed the entire length of the hotel inside. And then walked down stairs into Azuls restaurant. It sounds over cautious but I just hear of to much weird shit that goes on down there. Course I take risks as well and have picked up several street girls in the Alley.

These will often be Mexican nationals who speak near perfect / perfect English, sometimes even without an accent. Usually, they were deported for a good reason.

So after they are deported, they are unable to get Mexican paperwork required to hold a regular job. Some speak really shitty Spanish if any. And they are stuck in the Zona Norte working in the underground economy. There is an interesting youtube about their situation. They are really fucked.
On one hand, most claim to have been deported for stealing cars. On the other hand, stealing cars seems to be the default explanation most gave when asked the reason for deportation.

Suddenly, a Mexicana who had her pick of guys in the States is offering up her ass for mil pesos.

That's with VIP. But yeah prices going up. Annoying thing is when you get room and can't find girl to go upstairs.
