Yes, I'd say his report is way outdated.
Yes, I'd say his report is way outdated.
I haven't been in that area for about 1 year: How quickly things change.
I do remember Baccus, Jokers, Capones, Bar Las Americas, el Traje, and a few others in the Cordova Americas, Pronaf, and la Curva neighborhoods.
Thanks for the info about what's changed. Every now and then I remember the good years I had in the places I mentioned.
Gentlemen,
Can you please help a novice? I am in El Paso on business, and plan to go to whatever part of Juarez you are all visiting!
I need basic information. Where do I park in El Paso (I want to leave my car there, and do Juarez by foot)? Do I cross at the Santa Fe Bridge by the Abraham Chavez Theatre?
I don't want to fall victim to 'guides'. Where do I go from the border, how do I get to the right neighborhood, what establishments should I visit, and how much $$ should I bring for 2-3 sessions?
This is what I would do. . .other mongers have different MOs. . .
Before you leave, you’ll need either a passport or driver’s license, at least $80 in small bills, and around $1 in change.
Don’t take you’re military ID unless you’re IRR or retired. Juarez is off-limits to US military.
There’s several fee parking lots you where you can park downtown. You can’t miss ‘em.
Start walking down El Paso street. You’ll cross the Sante Fe bridge, aka the Paso de Norte bridge, as you cross over into Juarez.
Just keep walking straight down Avenue Juarez. After about four blocks you’ll hit Ignacio Mejia street. Take a left. Immediately on your right will be Cleopatra’s Massage Parlor.
Your “massage” costs $35.
However, there’s a good chance there will be no doable girls at Cleopatra’s.
In which case you’ll need a back-up plan.
Back-up plans include. . .
By this time, I’m sure you would of noticed all the cabbies circling around you like vultures looking at a carcass.
If you have money to burn just let one of the cabbies take you to the Pink Lady.
But, FYI, all the cabbies get a big kick-back from the adult businesses. The businesses, in turn, jack up the monger’s fee proportionately.
So letting one of the cabbies take you to the Pink Lady will cost over $100 total.
Or, you could go trolling down Mariscal street, which is one block to the left (facing the bridge) and parallel to Avenue Juarez. It’s the red light district.
But, in my experience, Mariscal street is mostly full of druggie criminal types and all my experiences there have been horrible.
So, what I would recommend is to instruct one of the cabbies to take you to Hospital General, because you need to visit a sick friend.
Then start walking down Oca street, crossing first at Ave. Paseo Triunfo De La Rep.
About four blocks down, on the right is Genesis Massage Parlor.
The “massage” is $30.
Genesis will cost you about $50 plus tip. $10 for the cab each way, and $30 for your massage.
Be aware of massage parlor etiquette.
**Never complain to the manager, or anyone else, about anything. Complaining puts your safety at risk. If you have a bad experience with a girl simply get dressed & leave quietly.
**Avoid any argument with anyone. You will lose. The people in charge favor the Mexican's version over the Americano's despite whatever the facts are. All a girl has to do is let a tear roll down her cheek and immediately she's the victim and you are the villain.
**Shower & brush your teeth before the session.
**Some girls charge extra for BJs, and some don’t. Pay it if she asks. Don't argue with her.
**Usually FK or any type of anal is extra. Ask her first. If she doesn’t charge you extra for these give her a bigger tip.
BTW most of the massage parlors are closed in the morning, Sundays, and after 9 PM.
Also, be aware about Genesis. . .Genesis is run very strictly. . .
**Customers aren't allowed to wait inside the lobby. . .you'll have to wait outside. . .
**After your session customers are not allowed to enter the lobby--leave the building immediately.
**They even padlock the inside bathroom. One of the girls will have to unlock it for you if you have to use it.
**If you take more than 40 minutes the girl will start whining “tiempo, tiempo”. I usually skip DATY for this reason.
**They also seem to have some kind-of "one condom per visit" rule that I don't really understand.
HAPPY MONGERING!!!
Gentlemen,
I can't thank you enough for your helpful advice.
Who would have thought such a fantastic place was within walking distance of the U.S.!
I haven't been in that area for about 1 year: How quickly things change.
Give it another year and I don't think too many of us will recognize the place.
Those Winds of Change have brought a bit of a strange atmosphere to El Centro as well with seemingly increased Policia presence but less Federales. It's been a while since I've seen a pickup loaded with flak and automatic weapon toting passengers.
There's a "teenager curfew" now as well.
Give it another year and I don't think too many of us will recognize the place.
I wonder what's going to happen to Cd. Juarez and other Mexican-border towns in 2008 when the terrorism law kicks in regarding passports. You know that in 2008 anyone and everyone will need a passport to enter the USA so that means no last-minute Cd. Juarez excursions. Instead you'll have to have your passport beforehand and most Americans (95%) don't have a passport.

yeah thanks. . .as you guys know, I've had to learn MP etiquette the hard way, and also from you & other mongers on this board. . .
Dam. . .won't be able to monger for the next couple of weeks. . .mongers need the border. . .

Got together with a friend last night and head to PDN (Paso Del Norte) parking areas. Really hard to find a place to park due to the construction and long lines at the bridge (maybe more are parking and walking like me), and the Marco Solis concert possibly?
As Coyote79 reports in his post it’s a little different around el centro. My friend and I both made comments about the "bad vibe" we felt as we walked down Juarez Ave. We looked from Juarez avenue to the back streets at some of the demolition, but didn't go back to check things out. The memory of being searched by Policia for "drugs" still fresh in my mind.
Kentucky bar was the first stop and it was great. I brought my digital camera and took some great pictures, after asking, of the inside which is now complimented by a small kitchen in the back. They turn out great bar food and snacks. Try the chicken wings! Extensive menu including steaks just haven’t tried anything else.
Chapaulin (sp? ) Colorado had some pretty girls and we had a few drink there, but it was pretty slow. Still a nice place to hang out and have drinks and lots of eye candy. I would not recommend going to this one without a Spanish speaker. Took no pictures here, I asked the management and was very nicely reminded some of the patrons would not appreciate being photographed. I appreciate being alive and in good health so the camera stayed in its case.
El Museuo (M Bar) located just to the east of Sphinx Night club (closed) was also a little slow but they had the same group of Argentines working there. Very exclusive place, incredibly hot women. The women don’t work in the trade but if your looking for eye candy this is the place.
Pink lady was good. We arrived around 11:30. I spoke with "Chris" who claimed to be from Monterey and "Brenda" who both spoke English. Both Jesus (Cool Waiter) and the "Mama San" were there. I realized we were taking a cab there, but because I know I wasn’t going to take a girl to the room I didn’t worry about it. We were too far gone so I didn’t even ask for prices. Pink lady has been hit or miss lately, but there was a good selection of cute girls to pick from if your not too picky. I enjoy GFE when I can get it so I like to chat with the girls to find out who is going to be fun. While the girl told me she is there almost every day, its rare I see the same girls on two successive occasions; lots of turnover I guess.
If you buy a woman a drink ($4) you can find out if she is going to be fun or its probably going to be mechanical fairly quickly then take her to the room. Don’t count on seeing her again unless you go there on a weekly basis. After talking for several minutes and a few beers the lady I was with stroking my leg, putting her head on my shoulder, and lightly kissing so it was a good stop for this drunk.
Walkover line was backed up at the bridge a little after 2:00 p. M. I took a picture of a drunk chick standing in line and one of my friend on the other side of the walkover checkpoint and one of the customs agents told me to stop taking pics of the bridge. I'm assuming for security reasons.
One the way to my friend’s house stopped at Chico’s which is good as ever. Lots of hot younger girls at the Montana location. Its not too difficult to strike up a conversation with someone over a double order and some fries. Chicos is open till 3:00 am so its a good after the bar stop but don't try to come too late or they will be cloased. The two security guards turned a number of people away right at 3:00 so get there early.

Esfinge is on the wikimapia and M bar is the bulding just to the east of it. If you havent been it is definitely worth going in for the drink for the gorgeous women from Venezuela. Going north up Americas turn into the Esfinge parking lot and take the road all the way to the back for M Bar. Tumbalo is supposed to be a happening place for salsa dancing as well.

Easy enough to find with those references! Thank you, Sir.

I'm new to the area, and am looking to check out the night life in Jtown labor day weekend. Looking for a wingman to tag along. Anyone interested PM me.
Thanks
Eden is on Tecnologico, on the northbound side, immediately north of Zaragosa. The sign isn't very prominent, you just pull into the first building north of Zaragosa. The girls there are fun and friendly. There was a full range of sizes, most of them good looking. Four of them I would rate as quite hot - a rating I don't give lightly. The initial quote from most of them to go to the room was 100, but I didn't try negotiating - it was late. Drinks for the ladies are 8, but they took their time with them. If you're visiting the clubs on Tecnologico, Eden is worth checking out. You won't go wrong with a lap dance from Vanessa.
I noticed the old Lantirna Verde had an Irma's sign on it now. Has anyone checked it out?
