Went to him and asked for an E2 test as the injections weren't working, he laughed and said no way. Went and got tested using cash out of my pocket ($45) and what do you know? 52 Fifty fucking two. As you say, the normal range is significantly lower than that.

George, rather than bore people repeating my limited contributions, take a look at my posting history. I think most of my posts have been on MILFs. I am a new member and will be making my first ever Philippines trip this Sept and am just now in the beginning planning stages.

I have already bought airline tickets and am staying at the New World Manila Bay for 9 nights total. I am mid 40's and in decent shape physically.

My (so far) plan is to walk to La Cafe and Amazonia and come back to my room with the girl. As well I will walk to Robinsons Place mall and see what that may bring me.

Some other times I will take a taxi to Makati or maybe some different researched areas.

Angeles is not in my plans as I will need to make myself appear at least a few times at a conference happening in the city so I want to stay in Manila.

My questions so far:

Are there enough places to eat (walking distance) around the New World Manila Bay and Ermita? Say twenty minutes walk or less from the hotel.

I don't want to be in traffic too much going from here to there.

Are there many ATMS around the area? I think the mall should have one at least. I want an ATM which is indoors in a safe and well lit area.

What is the situation with the massage places around the area? Yes, I know I can simply just get a massage from a woman in my room but sometimes I do like to check those massage places out. But I don't want to waste my time on one unless I know for certain the ending is what I am looking for.

Can a non guest / woman just hang out with me at the pool on the lounge chairs for a while, say an hour or two, as long as I am paying for food and drinks at the bar?

Also are there any laundry places nearby that would wash and dry and deliver my laundry back to me so I do not have to use the hotel laundry?

If the hotel is the old Hyatt, there is a casino in the hotel and a few ATM's inside. Your plan for LA Cafe is good, as is Robinson's.

Don't forget about EDSA Complex, as it is closer then Makati.

New Manila Bay Hotel has a great restaurant "Fireplace". You have a MC Donalds close by and Robinson mall (5 min walks have decent rstaurants). If you have Residence club (excecutive club) access they also serve nice meals and drinks from 6 pm to 8 pm. You can bring in one guest here. If more you have to pay for it. I never did though as I only unwind here alone and free from girls in my vicinity. No problem bring them by the pool either which I also never did. The hotel have other bars and restos as well and as long as bills are beeing paid I would dare to say you can bring as many as you like.

In the hotellobby and its entrance to the Casino you have 3 ATMs which all worked relatively great on my stays.

Turned out good for me both trips. My long terms were with 30+, but I have no problem with attractive mid 40's or older. The key word is, attractive. (I am in my 50's). I plan on a longer trip next time, so will do some of my own research!

New World company is the owner of what was the Hyatt in Ermita (the old Hyatt) and saw the chance to add another New World hotel once Hyatt signed up as operator of the City of Dreams hotel.

Hotel operators sometimes have geographical restrictions placed on them so that there can't be several similar brands in same towns. Shangri La is different as they generally own some or all of their own hotels so they don't impose the same restrictions on themselves.

You are in a perfect location for cheap mongering. All hotels in the area are girl friendly. Your rate for ST from LA Cafe should be around PHP 2000 - 2500, plus a drink for the lady while you conduct the interview. Many girls at LA Cafe work in pairs, so if a threesome is what you want, then a threesome you will find. Rate will be around 4000 - 5000 for the pair. From Robinson Mall, the rate should be around PHP 1000. Always pay afterwards.

2. If you can possibly escape your conference for an overnight trip to AC, then you should do it. You won't regret it. Just a warning that if you go to AC, your life may never be the same again. A taxi from Ermita to AC will cost about 2500 - 2800 PHP and will take 2-3 hours depending on the time of day. A Canadian gentlemen has written a rather poignant article on how AC truly and utterly fucked up his life as he became addicted to the beautiful women there. The article is on Stickman's BKK site.

3. Ermita has hundreds of smaller restaurants, including an excellent kebab / shwarma joint about 50 m from LA Cafe. Robinson Mall has every type of food imaginable in the food court. If you go to Robinson before the 10.00 am opening, you can hang out at Starbucks at the entrance and enjoy the free wifi with your grande soy latte. You can even have breakfast, lunch and dinner at LA Cafe. The place is open 24-hours a day.

4. I've only been to the legitimate massage places in Ermita and Malate and you can tell upon entry as they usually have flimsy curtains as dividers. I'm sure there are others that provide extras. Malate, which is a 15 minute walk away has a number of Korean massage places which probably have the Korean style scrub, followed by FS. I'm not sure if a non-Korean would be welcome there.

5. Yes, no problem with hanging out with your girl at the pool as long as she is with you. No one will bat an eye lid. I've taken the sluttiest looking wh0 res through the main entrance at the Diamond Hotel many times. Just a few more tips. If you are going out at night in Ermita or Malate for a pickup, leave your Rolex, iPhone, passport and wallet in the hotel room safe. I usually just keep about PHP 8,000 in my front pocket of my jeans. I'm not saying it's dangerous, but why take a risk? The area is well lit and always crowded, so you should be fine.

A large concentration of Japanese / Korean restaurants, but Robinson's mall will give you other alternatives as well.

It has the highest withdraw limit of 20,000 PHP, so it will save you on ATM fees. Other ATMs will max out at 10,000 PHP. Also, BPI has a branch next to Robinson's Mall. (note: the casino ATM has run out of money several times when I've used it and it takes many days for it to be working again.).

There is one HJ place a few blocks away, but that was pricey too at 1,300 PHP not including tip. My guess is you are better to negotiate with a freelancer at LA Cafe or the other 2 bars in the neighborhood and get them to massage you + extras. Personally, I would separate the 2 activities. Get a legit massage for 300-400 pesos and then "hire" someone for extras. Also, you can call any of the random massage places online and get someone delivered. I did that once and was thumbs down. Also, I had to give my full name which annoyed me, so the massage girl could say it at the front desk.

It's literally like a 1 min walk. It doubles as a fx exchange place. (opposite side of Manila Bay) Don't use that one to change money, go to Robinson's mall on the 3rd floor seems to have the best rates (at least the few that I checked). If you can find a Czarina as well, they seem to have very good rates (actually, at times better than the spot rate which is weird).

Yes, plan on some traffic if you are going outside the area. Although, it's probably only a 10-15 minute taxi ride to the EDSA complex at 9-10 pm at night. Even P Burgos in Makati will should only take about 20-30 minutes during the same hours.
