[/QUOTE]If you're roaming by yourself, these are the best places to go. Safety does become an issue after a bunch of drinks and once outside Nana and Cowboy times and zone. Seriously be cautious in the wee hours if you are by yourself. It's hard to believe you can't find someone by that time. Be safe so you can monger another day. I would just find a street bar on Sukhuimvet, watch the girls go by. As long as you are buying drinks and a paying customer, you're relatively safe. Same with Bossy and Spicy, you're spending money, you're safe. If you're wandering down a quiet Soi, both you and your money is not safe.

Having walked around during the day I think I understand the numbering system. There is a small sign at the end of the Soi, and in the evening a trader sets up his stall in front of it so no body can see it.
