A couple more things: For my cash do you feel the room safe is OK to use or should I only use the safe deposit desk at the front desk?

And for the average looking (lets say she is at best a "6") to barely above average (lets says she is a "7" and that is pushing it) and her age is definitely over 30 women at LA Cafe or Amazonia what would be a fair rate (including a tip) for her for say a whole afternoon and into the evening? Like, we go to dinner somewhere decent sit down style (Not a fast food place) and eat and hang out and talk, then we have some drinks afterwards, and then walk back to the room to play. But she does not spend the night after we play she leaves.

I already paid for both of our meals and drinks, so what would be a good rate and tip for that situation? It would be about nine hours lets say? from like 2 in the afternoon till 11 pm or so.

.[/QUOTE]It is extremely safe to keep your dough and valuables in the safe in the room. It's convenient also as you have access to your stuff when you want.

LT rates are approx 3000 pesos. As I had picked up a woman around 11 pm and she left the next day 11 am. 2 pops. Decent tip is 200 to 300 pesos but you can hand over more if you are extremely happy with the service.

It's a pain to have to go to the front desk each time.

There is no "set rate" for the scenarios you have described. It's what you can negotiate and what she will accept. Many of the girls that come to LA Cafe are semi-pros. That is, they might only come in a couple of times a week to earn enough to pay their rent, utility bills, kid's medicine, phone load etc. While your offer of a free restaurant meal, swim at the pool etc might be appreciated and she might actually like your company, at the end of the day it is all about how many blue notes she is going to take home that night. Given that ST (1-2 hours) with one pop is around 2000 - 2500 PHP, nine hours with two pops might be 3000 - 4000 PHP + 500 tip. What you pay for food and drinks is not of concern to the girl and isn't included in her own calculations. If you are keeping her for nine hours, then she really can't get back to LA Cafe for customer no. 2 so you need to make it worth her while. So we are talking about USD 100 for all day with a girl and two shots on goal. Not a bad deal if she agrees. Some of the more experienced Manila long-timers might think these rates are too high, but you don't want to come across as being too cheap.

Total noob here. Just found out that I can fit 8-9 nights in the Philippines in after a business trip to China. However I leave for China in 2 days and will get to Manila June 27. I know there is plenty of Philippines info here and the standard answer is RTFF. I have been a casual reader for a while, but reading to enjoy the trip reports is different than reading with the focus of immediate trip planning. I have tried to do what I can, but given the sudden timing of my trip, I would greatly appreciate the advice from PI vets. As this is at the end of a business trip, I have minimal travel costs and I really am not at all concerned about being on a budget. I am a short, fit, 40 year old American, looking for good GFE experiences with cute, slim girls in the 20-30 year old range. Don't have to be total stunners, but want to avoid the Jolibee bellies I have heard about.

My questions:

1. I can get to Manila airport at 1:45 am on June 27 - at that hour how long will it take to get to a hotel, it is too late to bother looking for a girl? Can I get a general taxi quickly at that hour or should I arrange for pickup through my hotel?

2. I plan on being in Manila for 2-3 days and then the rest in Angeles 5-6 days. I can fly out of Clark so it makes sense to end in Angeles. Is this a good time mix? Should I also try to check out Subic for a night or two?

3. For Manila I see plenty of debate between staying by La Café area in Malate or in Makati near Burgos St or Havana Café. As I am focused on quality and less concerned about price (for both girls and hotels), should I go with Makati? I read Sir Lancelot's excellent trip reports on Manila but its clear he had to do a fair amount of digging, and spend a fair amount of time at La Café, to find the gems he did. I am not quite so into the "hunt" to find a diamond in the rough. Is the crowd at Havana café significantly better than La Café?

4. I understand this is "low" season, any insight on weather? I read an El Nino may suppress rains until later in July. Am I going to just hit occasional showers or serious monsoons?

5. If this really is "low" season, can I be last minute on my hotel bookings so I can stay flexible or should I worry about sold out hotels and make commitments now?

6. ABC and the Lewis Grand seem like the high end properties in Angeles. Just wondering if the people staying at these places are from Asia or if there are more English speakers around? I assume almost all the guests are there for the hobby, is that correct? In my limited travels, I have always enjoyed chatting with guys in the hobby (this isn't really a hobby I can usually discuss with others), so I want to make sure I don't wind up in a place only non-English speakers go. For the hotels in Makati and Malete I assume these are more for general travelers, not punters, is that true? I see there is a Peninsula Hotel and Shangri-La in Makati, these seems to be walking distance to Havana Café, are they also walkable to the P Burgos area. Am I better off at the New World Makati?

I've used the hotel safe (which is a typical dual key system, a bit old but still functional) on 2 occasions: (1) Was going to a province location and returning and didn't want to carry that much cash with me. They let me use the safe for my between stays with the Hotel (2) Had brought over $10,000 USD to go gambling.

My question would be. Are you a heavy drinker? And have the possibility of doing stupid things while drunk and / or blackout? If so, leave a few things at the hotel safe in case this happens ie Passport, extra credit cards and ATM cards. The hotel you are staying is semi-relaxed on their check-in policy for overnight stays. Some hotels are very vigilant in signing in guests, New World MB rarely does that. The positive is it's sometimes annoying if you are going back to the room with more than 1 girl, but on the negative. It's a little less safe for you as an individual.

The girls are there to make money and they aren't going to give better or worse service with a sit down meal. But if you search long enough, maybe you will. In my past experiences, I have taken them back to the hotel and started round 1. Then afterwards, you can order room service which is a little pricey. But the it's a pretty big menu. Then you can take a nap and / or start round 2. Get used to the words, "up to you". Ie do you want to go to xx restaurant? Answer, "up to you". Do you want room service? Answer"up to you". Some girls may be a little more aggressive and say they are hungry, but none will demand a sit down restaurant.

(Everyone's rating system is different. Most of the 6-7's that I have been with from LA Cafe are in the mid-20's, cute with decent bodies. A good portion of them were single moms with "supposed" time constraints with a specific exit time. You will need to casually make sure of your time arrangement expectations.).

FYI, your time is off as well. Your selection is going to be severely limited if you go at 2 PM. I'd say, anywhere from 8-11 PM is when it starts getting busy ie more girls in the bar.

Random, You make some very good points there. For the newbie:

If you have negotiated a LT deal, it's important to take her to the room straight away and get on with Round 1 immediately. Don't buy her food, drink or take her to the pool until you have shot one load. Many of us have learnt the hard way. If the situation doesn't go according to plan, then at least you have fucked her once. Also, don't pay the money upfront. If she insists and won't open her legs in the room until she gets paid, then hold onto half until the end.

If you have paid the money upfront, she has all the power and she will give you every excuse as to why the date should end early. My baby is sick, kids school enrolment is today, interview for a house maid job blah blah blah. Many of the girls at LA Cafe are not sweet innocent things straight out of the provinces. They are semi-hardened girls who know how to survive in Manila and can read you very well.

Best to save your notion of romance and fine dining to prospects you meet on DIA. As Random has said, your girl will leave all the decision making up to you and would be perfectly happy with a takeout from Jollie Bee.

Most of the LA girls are sub par - 5 stars or less although you may find a rare diamond if you are lucky. Go instead to the EDSA Entertainment Complex. COTTON CLUB, FIREHOUSE, and PITSTOP are the bars you want to check out. The quality is much higher than LA Cafe. EDSA is only a 5 to 10 minute taxi ride away. Go early around 8 pm. If you don't find what you are looking for, then go to LA Cafe afterwards.

Yes, I agree with you regarding the quality of the ladies in LA Cafe. It is very much waste of time. It used to be very good. I remember picking up some FL who were waiting for her visa to USA and her friend. They were 9/10. Last time I was there, place was sorry.

I think someone has already given you a good estimate for the manila area. I just want to share an interesting note from someone who was on ISG many years ago. He was what some might call a heavy tipper. His rationale was that he was quite old, overweight, and not much too look at. So he tipped well. I was impressed that he factored that in. X.

The last time I saw a "head turner" in LA Cafe was quite a few years ago. She had above average intelligence, thick Visayan lips, some nice curves, big breasts, outstanding GFE, and was a helluva dancer. I know all this because she had spent a few days with me on an earlier trip. I first met her at PitStop, EDSA Complex. Unfortunately, she was in LA Cafe that night with a "date". She did find time to sneak away and say hello, bless her heart. Every other gal in the place looked plain after seeing her, so I left soon after that.

I'm not sure why a guy would pull a stunner out of EDSA and then take her to LA Cafe. I guess he had his reasons. Maybe for the 2nd floor band and dancing.

The next time I visited the Philippines she came in from the province to meet me in Cebu City. She was out of the bar. Wonder why? We had a nice evening of drinking and dancing at the old Sunflower Club that was located near the Waterfront Hotel. Did I mention that she was a good dancer? Did I mention she was a head turner? I was so happy to be with her again. LOL.

I noticed she wasn't nearly as sweet as the first time I was with her. I assumed it was too much time in the bar.

She spent the night but turned me down in the morning when I invited her to Bohol. She said her mother would be angry if she stayed away too long. After all, "I have a fiancé "!

It is quite possibly for it to happen and I am sure this gentleman would have his own reason like mine for doing the same.

It all depends. Airport to LA Cafe probably not much more than 30 minutes at that time of night.

As for girls, maybe there would be some returning for a second round, or there might be less pretty ones left over.

Thanks so much for all the help guys, it has been extremely helpful. I have learned much as I read the replies and as well have read the forums a bunch.

New question: How would I go about finding a woman while there for role play scenarios? For example she is the sexy female manager or secretary, she would have to be dressed like that when she showed up to meet me, or maybe the doctor or nurse, policewoman, or something like that. I would not expect the women there to have many costumes or maybe the right wardrobe for those things. Is that correct? Would this be an ad I placed on Backpage or Craigslist, or another site beforehand explicitly stating what I was looking for and the requirements, the time to meet me and where, the pay would be clearly detailed etc. Or no this is not a good idea? So I have read that some of you just contact the same woman from earlier in the week and meet her again later in the week. I am thinking that seems like something I would do (assuming the first visit went well). What are the reasons not to do this? Or the criticism of this practice? So if everything went well is there a reason that I shouldn't ask her if she would like to meet me again at location X at X o clock? Or even for a third time even? Seems like it would be easy on the planning and I wouldn't have to spend so much time on the hunt and doing interviews at possibly loud bars if I already had an appointment with someone who I met earlier. As long as we both understood clearly it was just business and we are not becoming any kind of relationship and she got paid for her time is there any problem with this?
