Santos & Raymond update + misc
Howdy all!
A. Santos: Was talking to a girl at Black Pearl (killing time in the afternoon). She flat refused to offer "in-house" services because it was "illegal" (on the premises?) and all the recent raids have everyone scared. I guess when NBI / PNP do their raids, they round up everyone (customers and all) and haul them to the station for harassment / disposition. So, what the girls are doing is getting customers to take them to a nearby short time hotel ("Sunrise" or "Sunshine" or something. Right after Wild Orchid parking lot) which runs about 200P for 2 3 hrs. Didn't have time to really investigate her claims with the other bars.
Raymond: As of 2/25, 3 out of 4 bars were still closed down. The open bar (the one farthest from the little church) was busy so I couldn't get in to really see what was going on, but it looked more like a "bar" setup. Customers sitting and hanging out at tables drinking. Could be they were waiting for someone or whatever, but it didn't seem to have the same feel as Raymond did before.
Was planning to go down perimeter this week to check on the various BJ bars down there (doing my part for the team) to see if they are still in operation, but I linked up with this wild girl from Tropix, and I may not make it out of the room (but I will try).
