I have a small report for you guys after receiving so much entertainment from everyone. Also sorry for any mistakes, I'm writing this at 1 am, Rio time. I arrived here on 22 May about 8 am and after getting my bags, I went to the arrival area and caught a cab from the end of the terminal. His name was Emerson and I have his number if anyone wants it. The ride was about 60 reais to my apartment in copa on Ave. Princessa Isabel. After that I took a walk on the beach and had some acai. Unfortunately I had a headache the whole time I have been in Rio so when I came back to my apartment I went to sleep. My plan was to get up around 4 and check out a prive in Largo do Machado and then maybe a termas in centro area. Well, I slept until 5 and thinking that I was still on east coast time it was actually 6 pm. I walked to the subway station and took the train to Largo do Machado to check out some garotas in are. Bento Lisboa. Unfortunately it was closed by the time I got there. (around 7) I then got back on the train and rode to Uruguaiana and went out of entrance A, which puts you on are. Uruguaiana. My intention was to check out 3 termas: Clube Cancun, Termas 64 and 4 x4. They were all closed. So all day in Rio and I visited no termas, prives, and had no programmas. But, on the plus side I did get a general layout of the streets AT NIGHT, which will help in the day. Here is a word about the centro area, it reminds of New York's meatpacking district or Chinatown. Cramped narrow streets with the smells of who knows what, but with less light and less people. Getting of the subway, there was a street party going with vendors selling stuff you might see at a flea market, cheap electronic accessories, socks, t-shirts and street food. Looking at the people, I see that I am overdressed. Guys, I can't emphasize this enough, leave the good clothes and jewelry at home. Flip flops, shorts and a bummy t-shirt will do the trick here. I had on some old shorts, a faded superman t-shirt and slip on boat shoes and still felt like I was overdressed! Well on to the report. After realizing that everything was closed and seeing a street church service for what I think are homeless people on are. Uruguayan, I decided it was time to head back to Copa. Side note, people literally sleep on the street here, not sure what to think of that, but there are a lot of homeless men and women, which is strange! Anyway I took the train to the Cantagalo station. I just said, fuck it, I'll hit a terma in Copa, hell I hadn't spent a dime up to that point anyway. This was about 10 pm and there were no taxistas outside of the station. So I decided to walk. I figured it would take about 20 minutes at most to get around Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. WRONG! 30 min later, I figured it was time to get a cab since the GPS on my phone (thank you Alexander Graham Bell!) said that it was a 45 min walk to Termas Solarium. I got in and got the speech about the price 100 reis entrance, 110 for a quarto, and 260 for a garota for 40 minutes. I think the total is 540 for 60 minutes but don't quote me. I changed into my robe and slippers and went upstairs. Being my first time in Rio and first time in a termas I was impressed, there were about 10-15 garotas present at the time with varying degrees of hotness, but nothing under what I would say is a 6, which in America is a 7 easy. But I've been to DR and Colombia, so I spoiled. Grabbed a beer and chilled at the bar when a girl came up and introduced herself. I know I said I would write a short report, but it has turned into a short story, ha ha, ha. So I will continue at another time.

However, I've found nothing in Rio like in the States with lap dances, etc. But then again, I have never looked specifically for strip clubs in Rio. I mean, like the man says, who goes to a top Rio club to see a strip show? A monger is down there to hump! Best PSE in the world is in Rio.

I wear them all the time at home, at the beach, but never on the streets of Rio. Have you ever tried to run in them? My bet is you cannot run nearly as fast as the natives. No doubt someone is going to follow this post with I have worn them for years without a problem. Well, good for you. Maybe you look like a native. What concerns me is the first-time gringo trying out those new pair of Havaianas when he has to react quickly. Wear old comfortable tennis shoes instead.

In Copa I brought my usual one from Florida-Aline-my regular who comes and hangs-then I brought 3 more that week. No one said nothing.
At IBIS in Centro I didn't bring any so not sure.
Most of the others not cool with bringing 10 different girls up due to double occupancy! I remember when I stayed at Debret, Copa-as soon as I entered with a hot GDP the receptionista was on me quick! LOL.
I checked her in as my guest in double occupancy but didn't bring others.
Having said all this re upscale Copa hoe-tels!,I managed once to bring 3 different girls to Best Western Ipanema in 10 days-after checking one from MC in- (the wonderful Adriana who came 3 days just for food / drinks!-result!
A second one from T65 for a weekend again for food / drinks and an old fave from MC-Lina-who stayed 2 nights in total.
They were cool-maybe cause it was winter-July-and they wanted the business. I was suer nice to them in reception. That always helps.

But theres one in the back past the lockers where you can smoke at. I think they did that in 2009.
