Hey guys, Any suggestions on great values where service is above average and prices are still low which equates to a good value? I still can't find a country that beats the Philippines, specifically Angeles City. I haven't been to Cebu and Boracay either but I've heard so so reviews.Oh. Phuket and Patong have been on the radar as well but I hear prices are through the roof and the girls there too have gotten spoiled with the influx of Aussies and it being a popular destination for tourist.
Hi YG, I think you should definitely check out Cebu. I had fun in Jakarta and will go there again and Bali next year. Best value is Cambodia, IMO, but the girls are not quite as GFE as PI. Nothing beats PI IMO. Certainly other members will have suggestions, too.

I have to admit, hotel rooms and villas are super cheap in Bali at around $20. I also mapped out all the places I'd consider staying and places I'd go on Google Maps. If you really want a different but pretty good experience, South America is pretty good with GFE.
Do the girls change much in Angeles? I've been going for awhile now and seem to see the same girls LOL. I've had 2 different girls at least once a trip on my last 4 trips. I think I'm going to lean towards Angeles, Cebu or Bali.
When's the last time you've been to Jakarta? Blok M seems to be the spot but so many bad reviews from places like Top Gun, etc. BATS and Classics seem to have decent reviews, I don't know. It also seems like everything is spread out unlike Pattaya, Angeles, Bangkok where they have an area full of action.

This is a very acute observation of Pinays.
I have seen this happen among many young Pinays in the companies of their dates. They would chat away with their friends and the guys would just sit there for hours with no interaction.
That tells me Pinays' focus is primary their domestic life with their native friends. Their foreigner dates are just walking ATMs to pay when going out.
Even if they marry foreigners, their deepest passion would still be with their Pinoy BFs. I would not be surprised if Pinays would sneak around the backs of their foreign husbands to have hot sex with the Pinoys who took their cherries, knocked them up, then abandoned them.
Regardless of age, there's one problem taking two or more girls for the long term. They will be constantly chatting in their native tongue-at the pool, at dinner, everywhere- and you will feel left out. If you chide them, they will merely shut up for a while.
Come on Luke. How far do you want to reach on this one. It is not an acute observation of Pinays. It is an acute observation of people who do not have anything in common. Even still, in a double date situation my experience is that the men usually chat amongst themselves and the women amongst themselves while intertwining every now and then. And why wouldn't a foreigner who does nothing but pay women be considered anything other than a walking ATM? If you begin as a trick then that is what you will forever be. Try going out with women who don't require payment as part of the terms of the date if you don't wish to be considered a walking ATM. I swear you guys make your own bed, then complain about the comfort of it when it's time to lie down.
Hi Localboy,
Could you please tell me what BJ bars in Perimeter Road. You're talking about? I only know the two remaining around the corner of Garfield's. But they've become very expensive for ST. They want 1300 for a BJ on their premises which is insane as far as I'm concerned.
Thank you!
Howdy all!
A. Santos: Was talking to a girl at Black Pearl (killing time in the afternoon). She flat refused to offer "in-house" services because it was "illegal" (on the premises?) and all the recent raids have everyone scared. I guess when NBI / PNP do their raids, they round up everyone (customers and all) and haul them to the station for harassment / disposition. So, what the girls are doing is getting customers to take them to a nearby short time hotel ("Sunrise" or "Sunshine" or something. Right after Wild Orchid parking lot) which runs about 200P for 2 3 hrs. Didn't have time to really investigate her claims with the other bars.
Raymond: As of 2/25, 3 out of 4 bars were still closed down. The open bar (the one farthest from the little church) was busy so I couldn't get in to really see what was going on, but it looked more like a "bar" setup. Customers sitting and hanging out at tables drinking. Could be they were waiting for someone or whatever, but it didn't seem to have the same feel as Raymond did before...
When I go out with mates on double / triple dates in AC it is more about us guys talking and catching up with each other. We encourage and expect the girls to chat amongst themselves. The last thing we want to hear is their take on the world. We are a little bit competitive and see the girls as very much trophy catch / eye candy whom are being paid to look good, laugh at our jokes and make us cum morning and night. In room parties etc, same same, we talk biz and the girls get drunk and create the colour and background noise.
I've had some more serious dates 1-1 in Manila and Cebu. The conversation is interesting but still kind of low level. I respect that your dates may be better company.

Second depends entirely on the social stra in which you operate. Smart girls generally date smart guys, for dates regardless of ethnic group.
Smart guys pick up doable girls for ONS or P4P.
If you feel left out because a language thats not your own is being used. Learn some of it so that you can understand if they are talking about you, or to become part of the conversation not the subject of the conversation.
If they marry foreigners, again depends which level you are talking about. Those girls who are educated and have professional jobs lose interest in the boys who took their cherry, because most pinoys are generally mommas boys, a rather vain and spoilt group, who are bought up to expect a lot. Thats why they feel they can take whatever from woman especially cherries. Then run far and fast when the girl announces she's buntis. Those girls who work in and around a bar are happy to continue playing with the trike drivers when hubby goes to work etc.
There are many levels of social strata in the country and its totally impossible to make the sweeeping generalisations that you have done here.
I picked up about a hundred words on my last trip, and usually I can tell the general meaning of what they are talking about so I can join the conversation. I had two girls fighting over me once and they were so surprised that I understood we had a nice threesome.
Well my buddy Luke, I did pay 500p for 2 pops "once" and 200p plus some Jollibees "once" and had 2 girls refuse to take my money. Took them to dinner though. But you know me Luke and you have seen me with some of the hottest young girls in China for free so it shouldn't be a surprise. But I also very rarely post about China because I currently live here, and if I move to the Philippines I will rarely post there as well.
I am not worried about competition as far as having all the girls, I am worried about deep pocket generous guys screwing up the price points. My "max" price point for the Philippines is 500p ST and 1000p LT (With the exception of the occasional BF splurge) but I will sometimes pay less. Don't pay more but maybe give some gifts, I am bringing a whole suitcase full of gifts on my next trip.
By the way, I have been in SZ for 7 years and my price point has never changed here from 1100p ST and 3000LT with the exception of the occasional Dongguan / Huizhou Danshui Splurge. Although, girls talk about the gifts I give them, I buy nice jewelry for 200p that lasts them years, and perfume for 75p that they love. What I don't do is tip, usually! But the girls here know about my gifts and want to get them for good service (50% give me GFE. 25% Ass Licking, etc.) This is how I have maintained my price point in China, and how I will do it in Angeles.
Happy mongering,
MM
Very true: the girls' behavior and aspirations depend a lot on their social strata. As a rule of thumb, middle class are pretty much like their counterparts in the USA. The top families are like the 1% globally. Generalizations here concern the vast lower classes, because that's what most of us mostly get. They are mostly ignorant, uneducated and not educable. They will not learn to protect themselves with birth control no matter what, because they rely only on what they learn from family and friends. For true love they want what we mostly want, a young strong body.
I overuse the modifier "mostly" to deflect anecdotal denials. Yes, there are always exceptions.
By the way, what do you mean by ONB?

Yes, there are always exceptions.
I appreciate your qualifier,"mostly." I think the not educable characterization is more of an open question. Access is a serious issue for poor Filipinos, as is the quality of instruction in public schools.
Even in ostensibly free public schools, there are many expenses that poor families cannot afford: uniforms, including dress shoes, slacks, shirts, blouses, and skirts of specific color and fit; writing paper, pens, pencils, erasers; take-home assignments that require materials that poor families do not have just lying around; special topic books that are sometimes not provided and must be purchased at National Book Store, for example; lunch or snacks purchased at school because the school is too far from home to walk home for lunch; in some cases, jeepney or tricycle fare to and from school. Many kids drop out from a practical decision, often made by parents, that the kid is needed more to help earn money for the family than to finish school. Add to this the barriers that kids experience when parents are uneducated, can't tutor the kid through subject matter, and don't promote the importance of completing school.
The quality of public school education is a matter that some of our expats have expounded upon from time to time. Several factors contribute to low quality: poorly prepared teachers, often teaching subjects they're not qualified to teach, over-sized classes, hot classrooms with no air conditioning, and, as a result, an over-emphasis on discipline at the expense of instruction. (One caveat: Filipino teachers recruited to teach in the states are often overwhelmed at the lack of respect and unruly behavior that American public school students extend to them as teachers.)
I don't think my observations originate from anecdotal exceptions. I welcome corrections from expats who know these details better than I do. Also, there are some frequent mobile clinics that offer minor surgery to women for tubal ligations. I think they are not broadly advertised, but women seem to know about them through word of mouth. I think RK has described them in the forum some time ago.
