VIP cards are sold by the bars, not the hotels. Their policies have never been clear, or firm.

I have been told Tropical's VIP card is cheaper, therefore not honored for HK's privileges, especially for the steep 70% room discount in Cascada. HK's VIP card is not even honored for discounts in Chavelas, which is physically connected to HK.

Depending on how big the privileges you want in HK, it's really up to the HK's front desk guys to decide. Only 1 guy is difficult, the other guys are all friendly and helpful, at least for now as the bosses seem busy and not watching closely. Just talk to the front desk guys and tip them reasonably.

HK will not honor the daily drink from a Tropical VIP card, and vice versa. Clothing. This is a double edged sword. If you dress nicely, you will definitely draw more attention. You also potentially increase your cost. I'm not one to sweat over $5. But the chicas will be more likely to raise their starting price.

If Michelle got you for $590 for 6 hours, you overpaid. It is absolutely your money and if you found value you're looking for, then it is a win! I don't like when others criticize what someone pays. I've overpaid a time or two for different reasons. So I only mention this because I think you are new to Tijuana. (I am no expert!) But, safe to say $600 for a toda la noche is above the going rate. On that note, what are the rules around girls working at HK? Are they all freelancers in the sense they can come and go as they please?
Would I be able to bring a girl for a short trip and not have to worry about some contract she has with HK & only worry about her fee?
