Some act like they don't want compensation, but it is cheaper to rent at this moment.

Before Tijuana so 6 years ago, I would go to ft Lauderdale Hollywood Florida clubs. The lap dances were much better than Hong Kong. Not even close. And 20 bucks. It's hard to be in a foreign land and you don't want to cause a scene with what happened with the scam thing in HK. Just for future reference to you and others that read this. If you ever have an issue with a waiter or girl trying to get you to buy something you didn't order just ask to speak to the captain. He is in charge of the waiters and knows all the scams they try to pull. They are more inclined to be on your side than the girls or waiters.

As others have mentioned just take it slow with a girl that you have chemistry with. Maybe just start out going to dinner and drinking in Tijuana. If you have fun I'd move on to a short getaway. The problem now is that the summer is over and the beaches aren't to warm in the fall. But if you just want to walk on the beach you have lots of options. Ensenada is only 1. 5 hours drive from Tijuana on the good toll road. You can exit at a dozen points along the road to visit beaches, little villages or resorts.
