I went there today. Man, it was not what I expected. It is a huge, huge operation. There were guys going up and down the stairs, to the spa, nonstop. And this was 2 pm in the afternoon on a Wednesday. I wanted to enter discreetly. So, I waited a few minutes for the foot traffic to die down, but it never did. This is just a friendly note of caution. This place is so obviously offering happy endings, especially with way the the girls are dressed AND also especially given the all male clientele, and they are doing it out in the open. As more foreigners go there, the Shanghai government will view it as an embarrassment for Shanghai. To me, it just seems like an obvious target for an easy raid, where the police could arrest over a hundred people in one fell swoop. The key is knowing how well connected the spa owners are. And I do not know the answer to that question.

Some of you guys will remember the 76 Changshou Road spa. That spa was above a kindergarten. That place was so well known among foreigners, that there were many times when I saw more foriegners there than locals. Eventually, that place was forced to shut down, but it may have gotten raided.

For places like the Yu or Spring shops, those gals are dressed in conservative uniforms, and a significant clientele are women, and the naughty stuff is not even on the menu. To me, these places are safer.

Anyway, I do not mean to scare anyone. Just be careful.

By the way you mentioned in your earlier report about Spring on same road being rebranded- can you elaborate more about it? It's in which location, the new shop and will try to go there and report here if find any good options.

This used to be a Spring, and it offered FS for 500 tip, as recently has a couple of years ago. However, the service was either rushed and mechanical, or the gal was not that attractive. So, I stopped going a long time ago.

A couple of weeks ago, I went by there, and it looked shut down. There was no one inside, and it was dark. However, last week, I noticed a new sign over the door, and the door was open with lights on. But I did not go in.
