Not sure I'd want to be there after dark, but it's probably more because I'm not familiar with that area.

There's a store in Cinema Square I frequent fairly often, and I enjoy some of the restaurants in little Tokyo from time to time. I've never been hassled at all in the area.

I've narrowed it down to two areas I want to stay near, and am hoping for members who have been to these places recently to help me decide:

1. LA Cafe.

Some say that the area around here is "dangerous. " Not really sure what this means, but I wouldn't imagine it's being robbed at gunpoint? Some field reports have mentioned finding nice talent here in the afternoon, before EDSA even opens.

However, I also read that the talent here is a definite hit or miss, but the prices for ST / LT are substantially cheaper than at EDSA. It's a must-visit place at least once, according to people.

It's also close to the USA Embassy if anything were to happen.

2. EDSA.

Talent is way better and it seems like I can probably enjoy myself here. Do the ladies here tend to leave early after paying for LT, like what I heard for places in Angeles City?

Looking to find a not-too-expensive, girl-friendly hotel to stay near one of these places (don't want to turn this into a hotel question). First time going to the Philippines so I have a lot of questions lingering, but hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction.
