Most people reading this probably already know, but as of yesterday afternoon, all the bars officially stop serving alcohol, and most of them closed their doors.
A small percentage of bars appeared to stay open serving customers with the lights off.
Presumably, this sad state of affairs will continue until at least the election next week.

Bars closed at 6pm and were to open at 2400 hrs next day, but around Soi Buakhao most had reopened mid afternoon, so not even a 24 hour closure. I am told the same closure for election day, so everything open till then.
What about February 14, then? It's some kind of Buddha Day. Does it mean that the bars are closed, even in Soi 6?
Not good for thai business anyway if they can't sell alcohol on Valentine's Day.

Me and my friend went to BKK last Aug. Took Cathay pacific flight. Met some couples. In the flight. We all have a very good long hour of drinking in the flight. Woke up 6 pm got fresh took bath and took two mahapatiala and to beach road. My friend liked one girl and want for longtime. She told 2500 BT. Lt. 1000 BT st. As a Indian.
