So running out at lunch time and having a session at a MP is always better then eating a meal. You can't really run to Beer Garden or look for a free lancer or hit Soi 22 and find a room and have a nice session and get back to work in time. But you can hit a MP for a nice session. And sometimes at night I am just too damn tired to go bar to bar and it was too damn loud and smokey (before) and just wanted a nice relaxing time without all the BS. Honestly Cowboy and NEP just does not have much draw for me anymore, once in a while it is OK but more then that it get's old (or I'm getting old) and they really are small areas with low number of girls. But there are a ton of massage places with a huge number of girls. All places serve a purpose and appeal to different folks or they would not stay in business.

What's wrong with me? My fav Soi Cowboy girls have quit.There is still the odd hot one, but then you have to start competing against lots of other guys wanting the same girl (unless she is too expensive) and be there at exactly the right time, etc.At MPs I can just phone up and make a booking.

You can find better quality and better time other place as you are more knowledgeable and fail to deal with the typical BS these girls give to guys because they all think we are newbies (you're excluded as you speak the lingo). And I forgot to mention... some folks have local GF's so they can't really go out to bars and long time the girls in hotel rooms... So MP's are a good option for people like this.

Hi all, Am visitng BKK with wife on a short shopping trip this month, we're staying at the Intercontinental, so I've already noted that Akane is around the corner, but not sure if I will be able to get away. Was advised to ask here if anyone knows of any legit looking MP or spa that I can take my wife to, while I get a bit naughty in the room next door (FS not necessary)? If my intercon spa or hyatt spa accross the street had these options would be perfect, but no one seems to know, a stand alone spa/mp to take my wife to would be the next best option it seems. You have the little collection of bars near Queen's Park (what they call the area Flaming Moes or some crap like that, a collection of bars), a little farther down between queens park and Suk (opposite side of queens park) you have some bars set back away from soi 22. But I must say some interesting talent works in the little bars set back some. I know two girls from before that used to work on Cowboy (Tilac and Raw Hide) move over there and I hear that one or two that used to work on 33 moved over there. They seem only to pull from Queens Park. Recently during this slow season it was dead dead dead... I was the only guy in these places which is good and bad at the same time... But for the day time I was speaking mainly about some little bars (really more like hell holes, dives, etc..) near those MP's you are probably talking about that surprisingly... one was open 24 hours, no idea how that can be but I found that it was open late late night and also had girls and a very cute girl available at 9 am there. Or maybe I was just lucky she was there that day, but I have confirmed they can provide at strange hours. You can run down that side soi to the MP's and look on the right (not the open air bars on that exact corner, farther down). If I was in my right mind I would have never entered it as it's definitely not my kind of place. So how and why I ventured in there at late night and also at 9 am... don't ask. When I went back during regular mongering hours with a clear head they had your girls looking young and inexperienced and your 35 year old timers but also had few mid range interesting girls and were available during regular hours. The one during the 9 am incident turned out to be very nice and worked well so I was lucky. During the regular hours I saw a guy walk in and take seven of the girls out all at one time.... really depleted the stock and they were not that good looking. I've never seen any of the bars on Soi 22 busy, the looks department is not always great, but you can find a few cute ones and a pool table and have a decent drink and it is not noisy or crowded. The few I have had from 22 over the last few years were all energetic however. Can say I never got a star fish from 22. However I much prefer other areas in BKK for girls and bars but I've been staying off of 22 with a GF so I pass these areas a lot. And they are not shoulder to shoulder first time tourists from Iowa or addicted sex addicts like you find in beer garden / NEP / Cowboy areas..... ;) ;) I don't recommend 22... I just did it... My point was that MP's are much better but I just happened to be in one of those moments that struck me and didn't want to wait till the MP's opened up and the opportunity presented itself. Trust me, I don't always make the best decisions :) :)
