I think there are two basic strategies for girls to make money. One is to go with many different men for a short time with each. And the other is to go with a few men for a long time with each.

The more attractive women can usually make more money by having many men for a short time each. Because guys can afford to pay more, when its only once or twice. There is a terrific little hotel called the Viking Hotel, run by an absentee Scandanavian, straight up the boulevard from the Walking St entrance, about a mile or so. I've stayed there a few times and always had a good time. Check it out for a reasonable and very clean operation far from the noise, with a nice little pool. Viking-hotel dotcom I think.

You can rent a 50cc scooter right at the bar for way cheap, too. But the Baht Buses go flying by in both directions if you put a premium on your brains staying in your head.

Some of this unpredictability probably comes from the fact that these ladies often have to juggle relationships with several men at the same time.
