How much is the Mansion, if you just stop through for drinks? The entrance fee?

Hope a Thursday night won't be too bad there too as I'll be flying in on such a day and don't really want to go out right after travels especially on my first trip. I'm not a nightclub type of guy anymore so hoping that the cave will be all I need for my evenings rather than having to go out to La Isla or Fase Dos which will undoubtly cost more for roughly the same thing I would be able to get at the Mansion.

I was there the Friday before that and it was even worse. I was shocked since it was a Friday night. But, I did hear Saturday night was packed and fun. Of course, the night I didn't go! LOL I'm anxious to hear your thoughts. As I've told others, even without the pool fun, Hotel M has some advantages. I wouldn't rule it out entirely just because of the pool.

As far as paying to enter the bar as a non-hotel guest, I would only do it if you know there's a decent number of women inside. There can be nights where there's no one in there (even before the recent changes).

I agree that staying there still can have advantages. It's always been a great place for a solo visitor to hang with like-minded travelers and serves as a good base of operations regardless of whether there are women hanging at the pool or bar.

[/QUOTE]I have stayed there before a few times. Now I am considering buying an apartment property. What do they charge for admission as a non-hotel guest? Is it possible to take a girl out of there back to my apartment?

It's like a MDE version of Blackbeard's resort in Dominican Republic where girls were available right on the property and like minded guys were there to chat with at the bar. And unique to MDE, as long as I pull girls only at the property or at casa during the daytime, I won't worry about getting drugged. The only negative I see so far for my purposes is that it might be a bit far to walk to the Metro stations.

After entering you will be in the outside area where many chicas hang but also walk to door to the inside area to see how many chicas are in there. If you like what you see, pay the doorman the $12 usd fee, get yourself a drink & then mingle!

There are no girls available on the property, only at the bar next door, and generally in evening only. So not much difference than staying in any other guest friendly hotel. You pick up your girl in whatever manner works for you, bring her into the hotel and she leaves her ID at the desk, or provides it in any case, then when you're done she leaves.

I think calling it just a girl friendly hotel is selling it short. Slightly. The powers that be will tell you that the hotel and the attached bar are two different businesses. We can play semantics but the girls at that bar are known commodities to the hotel. The girls that go there, even the regulars, have to present their cedula and it's recorded. The bar has cameras. And I've been there enough times to see when something bad happens (like a lost cell phone), the bar reacts immediately. And I know there are several girls that have been banned over the years. So, yes, effectively now, it is just another hotel. But there is an increased comfort in some vetting and ultra convenient to literally walk steps to your room vs the hassle of an uber.

Been a separate business for a couple of years or more. I was there a year ago and although I didn't stay there I checked the bar one day, but there were very few people around so I didn't pay my fee to get in.

It is a better option than a regular hotel for those reasons.
