Puerto Vallarta

I will be staying at Secrets resort in February and was wondering if anyone knows of massage place really close to here? I will also be going to andeles bar and wondering if anything is real close to there that I can slip away too?

Thanks guys.[/QUOTE]Your location will probably require you to take a cab to most places. Massage places are everywhere in PV. But finding one offering any extra services is the $64, 000 question. This Board has not provided anything useful on that front, and my trip in November did not turn up anything either. The Marina has a dozen massage shops and I had a great 90 minute massage at Serenity Spa for 500 pesos. They will bargain to get you in, so check several. In the old section of downtown, there are many on just about every street. This section of town also caters to some of the gay community, just so you are aware. Throughout all of the area you will see massage locations. Please report back to us after your trip.

I will be in PV in a few weeks on a Wednesday from 10a-6p. I plan on stopping at Los Antorches. I don't speak any Spanish but found a page here with some phrases that I will print out. From what I see Los A is near the cruise port so I should be able to walk there. Is this correct? Are there any regular strip club type places that would be open early in the day? Would it be a good idea to hire a cab to take me around? Should I bring Pesos or Dollars? I am thinking I will walk around and check out the various massage parlors to see if I can find the "right" parlor. I get more thrill out of the hunt than the actual act most times.

I appreciate the posts, I've never been in the area and will be traveling alone. It seems like PV is more active than Cabo on this board. Sounds like Cabo is much more spendy so I will play in PV.

Capt Cruiser[/QUOTE]When you exit the terminal to the main road, Los Antorchas will be to the right and across the main road from the Soriana grocery market. But this is a busy road. In addition to two lanes of traffic each way for the main road, there are single lanes of local traffic on each side. These six lanes make it dangerous to cross in this area. The better approach is to walk to the left and cross at the intersection with the Walmart. Then walk right after crossing until you get to LA. They open around 10 and there should be 6-12 girls there during the day. I would bring Pesos. The clubs are not open until late in the evening, so you will be SOL on that. There are plenty of massage places around the marina. It is walkable from the terminal, but you may want to opt for a taxi. Not sure what your "right" parlor consists of, but there are plenty of women in massage garb standing outside the parlors hoping you will stop in. Don't expect extras, but if you find them, let us know where. Even without the extras, great massages for $35-50 US for 90 minutes.

Sorry, there are actually two lanes of local traffic on each side. So you must cross 8 lanes of traffic to get from the Terminal side to the Los Antorchas side.

Sorry to hear that regular strip clubs won't be open that early but I sort of figured they wouldn't be.

Mamacitas is now open 24 hours, at least as of last week. This is an upscale stripclub that I believe is located Pitillal, but it does have rooms on the premises for those interested. They generally have a very good selection of girls. It is located next door to where El why Ellas was. Check on the cost of ladies drinks before you purchase one. They also have a price list on the tables.

Do you have an exact location by street or intersection? I know there is an area known as Pitallal a short ways back from the Walmart near the marina. Is this the area you are talking about? Thanks.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]Yes, if you are taking a taxi almost any taxi driver will know where El why Ella is, and it is located next door to it. With that being said, El why Ella is now closed. I will be arriving again in Vallarta tomorrow morning, but probably will not make it out there, as I have several previous girls whom I will be seeing that are not in the business, but whom I met in the nightclubs on the malecon.

First of all, I want to thank guys like Old Parr, Scubatoo for excellent information. I have been to Puerto Vallarta 15 times. The tips from this board have been invaluable.

Imelda is not "hot", just nice to me. Every time I stumble in, she holds my hand and rubs my leg (and more). Pleasant.

I am familiar with the local scene, and have been to Candy's a few times initially until I realized it was a major money-grubbing rip off, then had the pleasure last time of going to off the beaten path places like El why Ella and LA! I've even had a nice Massage at Damely Massage. There were a couple of sisters there at the time.

I know my seniority on the other site means absolutely squat here, just wanted to check in and ask a few questions to some of the frequent contributors here. I've RTFF, but wanted to probe a bit deeper on some topics. My situation, traveling w family so no girls back at the place, probably won't have a car.

1. El why Ella closed? Is this permanent? I thought this was the better club by far. This would be disappointing. Would others recommend the place next store 'Mamacitas'? Haven't heard of this place. If not, what about other places?

2. Read a bit about Mango's on the site, but had trouble getting more info, including address. Is this place nearby downtown? I would be coming from Nuevo Vallarta in a taxi, so don't want to go crazy if further away;

3. For Los Antorchas, I reviewed the Cruise in Port PDF (thank you!) , and there is a huge dry spell between 30-Jan and 13-Feb. Question is, is this place ONLY open during cruise ship docks?

4. Massage. Things have changed I am sure, so wanted to understand best bets in terms of Happy Time Massages. I read some good reports that eluded to a couple of places. The Red Zone report had listed google maps locations to 3, but the URLs were broken, etc. Just not a lot of info out there.

Good to know that we will have another provider of useful information somewhere down the road. Thanks for doing your homework before asking questions. Unfortunately, I can only answer No. 3, which is that Los Antorchas is open every day regardless of whether a cruise ship is in port. There likely will be a few less girls available on those days. Los Mangos is located in La Penita, about 40 miles from P V airport. Opens at 8 pm. About 1 mile north is Oasis, also 8 pm. Both offer table dancing and rooms. $ 800 at Mangos $1,000 at Oasis. Take a bus or Taxi, but check price.

I didn't catch the new name or look inside. It didn't look busy. There were no doormen like before.
