We have been discussing Covid on this thread (and other Phils threads) since it started a year ago. Covid has dominated the discussions in this thread for much more than 5 pages. I just chose 5 pages as an example. Having people like Jones asking a general question that we've been answering / discussing for some time means we need to re-answer them. Its easier on the responding members, and expected, that members will RTTF before asking questions, so we don't have another member pop off again in a few days with: "How's the Covid situation over there? Will it open up soon for travelers?" Jones' question does not encourage discourse on the topic. Discourse involves both the giving and taking of information; asking a general question, like "Where do I find the best girls?" does not foster discourse. If Jones' or others have specific info to offer on the topic (or any topic), that would be great.
The best way to find out information about your question is to RTTF first. If you can't find an answer, PM one of us. If you still can't find an answer, posit your question on the open board. After that, post some Field Reports of your travels (otherwise it will appear you are taking, without giving back).
Rose I think you will find, if you look back thru the Phils threads, that when newbs ask general questions (that have previously been answered), it works out well for the newb only. The Board regulars who (re-) respond to his question take their time to do so in the expectation that he will write up some descriptive Field Reports upon his visit in-country. However most such newbs don't bother to do that. And anudder ting: 5 pages is spit. If you are making your first trip to Phils and want info about both Burgos and AC (not uncommon), then please read back 20 pages in each of these forums: Manila, Makati, Angeles City. Its a few hours and a wealth of information (and also some BS, admittedly some from myself).

But it is too hard to read 5, 10,50 pages to research for your answer like an adult.
This is not a shaming statement. Only to point out that many, including me, at the beginning, like to get the information as quickly as possible because we've been asleep during class. Slow down, take a breath, and read a little bit. Every minute / hour you read, WILL save you a ton of issues going forward, when you will be taking on live bullets from bad situations.

My first trip to Philippines many years ago I spend over an hour RTFF and I PM a few seniors (Love Asian W was a big contributor then). They were all helpful as I showed I did my research and posed specific questions unlike many newbs.
Loso 69 did the same on his first visit to the UAE and PM me a few times, did lots of RTFF, arrived we met and partied, he was helped with pinay contact s and had a great time.
5 pages is lazy and that is being nice, 50 is more like it and on each thread as the info here is very good when compared to others.

Gents, it would seem Dr. Westy's vaxxing efforts are still underway. This unfortunate leakage was from this 22 yo's second dosing of the morning. The first dose held strong inside, but an hour later some of the second dose spilled out. The girl felt bad about this. However the doctor is facing some exhaustion in his work and needs a day or so of rest. She has asked to come again in a few days for what the doctor describes as: a solid double-dose. Wish me luck.

We didn't party but we did enjoy coffee at Ayala Mall in Cebu.
The next year WR helped me out with two amazing referrals. Fark. Amazing and they left the industry soon after.
