Thanks for your insights. They are timely because I'm heading to KL in a few days. There are not many postings here about Changkat bars, but your thoughts make it intriguing. While in KL I normally have my fun in the afternoon, usually at a spa or at the ACE building. But might have to force myself to stay up late and go partying.

You mentioning the Hard Rock Cafe was interesting, because I've never thought about picking anyone up there. Any idea what the going rate is for short-time companionship?

However, I am looking for a slightly more luxurious hotel than those that have been suggested. Most importantly is GIRL FRIENDLY. (of course, wife, room size cleanliness are important too, but even the best hotel in KL is a failure if I can't use my hotel for mongering!

Has anyone experience with the Impiana KLCC Hotel, the Ramada Suites Hotel or the Shangri-La Hotel. For that matter, how about the rather pricey Mandarin Oriental?

Forest, I think most, if not all KL 5-star hotels are GF. Other punters more familiar with KL than I am can follow up on that statement if they like, but I stayed at the KL Shangri la and it is most definitely girl friendly and very convenient too if you plan to hit up BC and Thai Club. Rooms are typical Shangri la high quality as is the restaurant. Pretty good pool as well. And the location, as I pointed out, is great. You get what you pay for at the KL Shang. Highly recommended.

The front desk didn't question me about the girls that I brought up. Accessing the elevators doesnt require passing reception. The entry guards don't police the girls. However, I wouldn't consider it a luxury accommodation.

I would opt for Marriott or Traders, if you want to stay in BB, or Shangri La.

Have stayed in both the Impiana and Shangri-La with no issues. Impiana is not that great a hotel compared to Shangri-La.

Hi Dear, as mentioned by other members, Shangri la is good and totally girl friendly. If you like slightly cheaper option, then try Concord. It hosts Hard Rock Cafe and very close to Thai club and beach club (Shangri La is also close). Concord is totally GF and cheaper.

So I will throw out one last query about places to pickup model type girls. I have read that the Hilton and the Mandarin Oriental have the Zeta Bar and the Club Kyo, respectively. 1) the most beautiful girls in a bar environment are at TC and BC;.

2) other pick-up bars are at Changkat, HardRock Cafe, Traders (but at the end 1) is always confirmed);.

3) never heard about girls in those bars you mention, although some can always pop up, here and there (still, no place can beat 1) for quantity and quality);.

Saw one girl there last time she was 10 +++++ so scared to ask her price but OMG she was top shelf X 3 - be aware you will be competing with rich Asians for her company so price will be steep.

I NEVER go for super hot girls who know it as perf is likely to be average. BYVMD.
