I'm planning a trip early February to Germany from Chicago with Lufthansa. If I book a flight to Frankfurt, it will cost $1200. If I book a flight to Kiev, which will stop in Frankfurt, it will cost $700. What happens if I don't catch the second leg of my flight to Kiev and I stay in Germany? $500 bucks has got to be a few good bangs in an FKK. Are their rules in place to stop people from booking the cheaper flight? I travel light with just a carry on, so no need to check something in.

This has happened to me before. Unless you complete the journey to Kiev, they may cancel your return flight from Frankfurt to Chicago. However, if you call the airlines and told them you were changing plans, then they will retain the Frankfurt to Chicago booking. It is up to you. If you make good contacts in Kiev, I think it is a better value than time spent at a FKK. Ukrainian girls are beautiful!

Usually that's like 100 USD. A stop over isn't restricted in duration, as long as the whole tariff time isn't violated (that's usually something like 3 month). So fly to Kiew and have you FKK pit stop on either way. So you get best of both worlds.

If you miss any leg of a round trip flight (other than the last leg), the rest of the ticket is usually cancelled by the airline and lost. Several different airlines informed me of this policy. I had this exact situation numerous times.

The only way I found around this problem, was not to buy one round trip ticket with stops in each direction, but rather to buy two separate one way tickets, one ticket going, and the second ticket returning. Then the second leg of the outgoing ticket is the last leg of that ticket, which you should be able to miss without affecting the entirely separate return ticket, which you purchased separately. As you also correctly observe, you can only do this (miss the second and final leg of a ticket without consequence) if you have no bags checked in to the final destination. So if you're travelling light, with only hand luggage taken into the cabin, what can they do to you if you miss the continuing flight after the stopover?

However, the foregoing solution only helps if the cost of a one way ticket, is about half of what a round trip ticket costs, in which case buying two separate one way tickets, one going, and one returning, won't cost you any more than buying a round trip ticket. However, most airlines charge for a one way transatlantic flight, almost as much as a round trip ticket. So buying two separate one way tickets will cost much more than a round trip ticket. Therefore, this strategy is only good for flights within Europe, where the one way ticket costs about half of a round trip ticket. It doesn't help for transatlantic flights, except maybe with Aeroflot, which I saw many times had one way tickets which were about half of the cost of a round trip ticket, even on transatlantic flights. Maybe there are other airlines where this is possible.

Of course, Aeroflot will not help you get to Frankfurt. So this strategy may help in another circumstance in future when you notice that a ticket is significantly cheaper to a final destination, than tickets to its stopover airport are. But it is not a solution for an FKK stop.

It happens that I am a big fan of combining trips to Kiev, together with stopping in an FKK. I have stopped in an FKK on the way going to Kiev, but I find that then, I arrive in Kiev too drained. And I have a lot of pussy waiting for me in Kiev, too much even to handle in just a few day visit. So after experimentation with this, I have come to prefer stopping at the FKK on the way home from Kiev. That way I can do justice to the beauties in Kiev, arriving there fresh and ready to enjoy the Kiev hotties. And then afterwards, I stop in an FKK on the flight home, just to finish out the trip on a high note, of fucking as many girls as I can until I am completely drained, and then flying home with a big smile on my face, as I dream about all the awesome pussy I had in that last night in the FKK.

It so happens that I am playing with the travel websites to find a lower cost opportunity to execute just such a plan as I have described above.

And the good news for you is that you can do it from Chicago for quite low fares too, in the $600's /$700's range. I don't know your exact travel dates, but just looking at some sample dates using the travel website [URL]kayak.com[/URL], I see you can do a trip with flights whose final destinations are Chicago and Kiev, and which stop in Vienna on the way to Kiev (where you can spend the day in the FKK [URL]www.goldentime.at[/URL]), and on the return from Kiev to Chicago, stop in Frankfurt for an overnight (where you can go to my favorite FKK [URL]www.fkk-Oase.de[/URL] or another of the several Frankfurt area FKK's). Such a trip would give you the opportunity to do everything. Have stops at FKK clubs, and experience Kiev. The cost of such tickets from Chicago to Kiev, with stops in Vienna and / or Frankfurt is in the $600's /$700's range. When using [URL]kayak.com[/URL], the search engine puts together flight itineraries from multiple airlines, such as a combination of Ukraine International Airlines together with Austrian / Tyrolean airlines, or with Lufthansa. Use the filters in the [URL]kayak.com[/URL] site to eliminate flight itineraries including "Franz Josef Strauss" which is in Munich, a wasted stop as Munich is not a good mongering destination for FKK seekers), and look for flight itineraries having more than 20 hours of flight (which means they have long enough stopovers for an FKK visit in between flights). Ideally, I liked the full day stop in Vienna so that I could spend from opening time or noon until around 6 pm at FKK Goldentime, before heading back to Vienna airport for my continuing flight to Kiev. And on the return flight, a stop overnight in Frankfurt, which would allow me to stay at the FKK until closing at 4 am, and get back to my hotel for a little sleep until I have to get back to the Frankfurt airport for the flight home.

So now you can use the extra $500 or so to bang a few more chicks in the FKK, just as you wished, and also have some nights in Kiev.

I think there is a very good chance Lufthansa might cancel the return leg of your flight Frankfurt to Chicago unless there is a very good reason for not doing so, eg Kiev Airport closed, Political situation in UA etc. I think you can't break your flight. Check with an expert and take a good insurance policy.

A few years ago I just wanted to go to London, but I booked flights from LA through London to Kiev with my mileages, because the fee associated with mileages for LA-London-Kiev was cheaper than that of LA-London. The mileages I needed to Kiev was the same as the ones to London.

I had a checked-in bag.

In order for me to collect my checked-in bag in London, I talked to an agent of the airline on the day of my departure at the LA airport and told her that I changed my travel plan and wanted to get off in London and not to go all the way to Kiev. She just changed my itinerary, and I was able to get off with my checked-in bag in London without paying any extra fees.

I booked a separate ticket with my mileages for my return to LA.
