Brief update and Freelance inflation?
Well I just got back from my late night venture to Troya a few minutes ago. It ended up being a bust LOL. I knew things could be a bit dead, but it was super dead. Probably more girls than customers when I arrived around 12:35 am'ish. I ended up getting a few dances, but around 1:50 am the dj stopped playing music although they didn't say they were closing early (they're supposed to be open until 3 am). I waited around for another 5 minutes to see if the music would start back up or if any of the few girls still around would come back around to maybe grab one, but the dj didn't start back playing music and none of the few girls that I knew to still be there came back around aside from the one that was with a customer already chatting. So I bounced and just decided to call it a night.
Anyways the real reason for this post is that as I was walking around the zona hunting freelancers. I was walking past that one street that's one over from the back entrance to Troya and this guy was being driven in a cab and rolling down the window asking various freelancers how much. My spanish is terrible, but I definitely understood doscientos which was what the various girls were quoting him. I was like damn freelancers are asking for more than the girls in the clubs now? Or maybe it's just those girls working that specific area of the zona since it's close to the major clubs and they tend to be as enhanced as the bar girls. I know I've been venturing slightly south away from the freelancers close to the clubs just trying something new and luckily haven't had that happen to me.
Yellow fever requirements
Hi Folks,
I need an advice for yellow fever vaccination to enter Colombia. I am travelling from USA to Brazil (Rio) and then to Buenos Aires and then to Bogota. All the flight tickets are separate. Though I shall not be going directly to Colombia from Brazil (Going from Rio to Buenos Aires to Bogota) do I still need a yellow fever vaccination to enter Colombia. Please advice. I shall be staying for two weeks in Brazil and 4 days in Buenos Aries before going to Bogota. Government of Colombia website says "Vaccination required to enter Colombia from Brazil but then says not recommended if travelling to Medellin, Bogota, Cartagena. SO I am confused. Please advice.
Girl friendly hotels or Airbnb
I know a lot of guys use the Tequendama Suites Hotel. Just to be sure, is it girl friendly? Would like to spend time in the area north of there to be close to the historical section. Any advice on hotels or Airbnb in the Chapinero area, I know I spelled that wrong, that are girl friendly. Thanks.
