This might be a newbie question but can the seniors throw some light on how to avoid (or at least minimize) any hassles at reception when you meet a girl at a hotel? One popular opinion is to check-in together. Do Mumbai hotels allow guests with an I'd having a local address, to check-in? Or is it safe to check-in alone and then the girl can 'Visit' you as a friend? In either case, an I'd proof may be required but which option is better?

We were in a discussion for a week or so about the possibility until today when it really materialized. God why you made us like this. Greed for variety has no ends. And what a endeavor it has been. Four with one. How to write and where to start from.

Yes you can have a guest as long as she is an eye shore or can spoil the reputation. Loads of hotels allows girls to check in. Each with their respective ID. Or you can check in as double and allow the girl to come in later stage. All permutation or combination is available. Until you venture out you shall not know the rules.
