I'm curious. I've read this stuff on other message boards also, so you are claiming they are all false. I can't say for sure since I haven't barfined from Makati. Now when you say this, is it because you bought lady drinks for the woman you barfined and you paid the whole barfine like 3000 or 3500 pesos. Or are you saying, you asked them why the lady drinks you bought for the woman you planned to barfine were not deducted from the total?

Also, whether you believe certain claims are true or not, I don't think it necessary to call people out like that. You get all types of people in message boards. I don't really see why anyone would want to lie about something like that. I can see people making up some lavish stories, but in regards to the barfine I don't know. If Makati is slowing down as people have mentioned, maybe the custom of deducting the lady drinks bought already from the barfine total is over with. Or maybe because someone barfining didn't know about it or say anything about it, they got charged the full barfine and the bar kept the extra. If you are there and barfining, you could give us up to date information instead of saying people are fabricating something like this because it didn't happen for you recently.

Am back in Makati next week. Miss N my favourite from UAE will be with me for 2 days of my time there, and she insists mamasan deducts the drinks from the bar fine...I have seen it and she has got it. Maybe this is not the case for everyone but she knows how to get what she wants..;) :)

When a barfine happens, there is the assumption of a tip at the end of the performance. Considering the situation, 500 should have been enough. Nevertheless, she did everything you asked her to do. Maybe they were expecting a foursome and were surprised at the ending.

There is a lesson here. Don't think you're doing anyone a favor by barfining "friends". Of course some may enjoy an evening out, but others are expecting some compensation. I guess you need to make things clear ahead of time. If you don't know the ladies well, you might want to talk to the one you like and tell her how it will be. Then let her invite the friends -- let her tell them the way it will be....

I pulled a girl out of LA cafe and some fat thing tried to tag along. I made it clear that I wasn't interested in her, but she wanted to come along. My response was "why?" I tend to always pay what is finally being asked after the usual bargain. A little of bargaining is expected, not only in the Phils, but mostly around the world and in Asia. The mamasans most likely have various levels of flexibility according to the bar, the time of year, the mood of the boss. Low season might be, paradoxally, less flexible. Well, once again, so what? I think and noticed that the more you show you are close to your money in an exaggerated way, the worse the experience will be once in the room. I love it when a girl tells me I pay what I want, "just don't be too cheap". And I respect when she tells me she has a price. And I put all the efforts in having the discussion not focusing on this.

And for those who can't afford the high prices in QC, the more moderate in Makati, there is always the 900 BF in Pasay and the LA girls. Most of the times, beauty follow the level of pricing.

Will be in the Phils in the next weeks, and will stick to those principles. Will announce in the appropirate section, and will be more than happy to share a few beers.

Maybe for some people the costs don't matter. Lady drinks in Makati can add up when they are charging 300-350 pesos a drink, so I think there are people who do care because it's being discussed. A 3500 barfine and something else for her later on might be small change for you but maybe not others. It doesn't hurt to discuss this because it actually might save someone some cash that cares about it. If in the Phillipines "nothing is set in stone", I guess there's no reason to have any message board in regards to the Phillipines? Of course the barfine situations can change. At the same time, it doesn't mean not having some knowledge that the drinks are possibly supposed to be deducted from the barfine total to possibly save people money here instead of someone at the bar pocketing it.

I'm a regular visitor to Makati and get there about every few months. And every few months I have a ball. Heres my weekend from two weeks back.

Arrived and straight into sms mode. Letting my harem know I'm here. This is a mix of bargirls, internet girls, Friendster girls, a few chat girls and a few ladies who work there. And as the name suggests, I'm generally a player in the "free game". Anyways I arrived on a Thursday afternoon, and had already established a date with a lady that night but was interested to do more.

Final day. And had arranged to meet my favourite bar girl. Also only 5ft and 42 kgs and 21. Shes not the hottest in town but I think she has one of these cute crushes on me. Had a few drinks on plane and realised I was super tired. No wonder. Thats a lot of girls and a lot of drinking. And I wouldn't change my schedule for anything. Will be back in Novemeber, probably to do the same again.
