If you want a more "Thai" soapy place, try the diamond pub (soi 63 if my memory serves me right) , I wrote reports on it so search for them

BJ and FS maybe? Up to individual girl, mood and price. Also Soi 80 not too far a walk away from here. Bars and massage on most of the Soi.
Every massage place in town seems to offer HJ, you'd have to hunt, to not find it.
Hornblowers has been gone for couple of years I think.

NONE of the places where the girls wore non-sexy uniforms every offered any sexual extras. The ladies I see regularly at such places eventually get around to discussing the most recent customer who didn't believe her when she said no special massage as this shop. YMMV.
Hornblowers closed. New BJ placed opened in the same spot. Never can remember the name exactly right. It's something like Linley's

I am thinking of going to Hua Hin for the first time, Will there be some action in the bars in early Jan? If so can someone recommend a 40-60 buck hotel with Safety box, in room Wifi and close to the action. Cheers

I do not know about Krabi city but I guess there will be some more action there.

Cheers[/QUOTE]There are bars & a disco which opens late in Hua Hin, try googling for hua hin after dark and you will find the exact area. Hua Hin is small with about 7-10 girlie bars on one street but you can what you want from there. More laidback service as compared to BKK. Check out Toro Bar has nice selection of girls.
I was in Kanchanaburi recently for a few days.
Travelling from BKK is simple by bus or train.
I chose the train. 100 Baht for a single ticket, which is interesting if you have never tried a Thai train journey before!
I stayed at River Kwai Hotel. 284/15-16 Sang Chuto Road, right in the middle of town.
It is quite nice hotel with, when I booked, a good internet price including a reasonable breakfast.
It has a big, mostly Thai disco on Saturdays but did not try (I'm a 'bit' old for the disco scene!)
There is one street of beer bars & eating places that seems to be the place that farrangs hang out which is quite near the war grave cemetery in town on the main drag.
Not a huge number of women around but enough to satisfy you if you have an itch that needs scratching!
Also several freelancers / civilians seemed to be available in some of the bars / restaurants.
Blue Jeans has some good live music most nights.
It made a relaxing break from Bangkok / Pattaya.
