I would say using gestures is something we all do when trying to speak to someone that speaks another language. That works sometimes good or bad depending what country your in. Then I have my girlfriend speaks and then it translates into English. I can get idea across, but it's still marginally rudimentary, due to idioms and slang. You can try using the app and say it in Vietnamese. See if it is the intended msg you want in English.
