Closing the whole hotel down seems to be a little extreme, unless they couldn't survive as a regular hotel. I haven't been there yet, so I don't have much to comment on that.
I should have a car in 3 weeks, so until then I won't be exploring too much.

Not really extreme when you consider that the majority of the customers would be Saudis. In Ramadan they just don't come across the causeway. No booze, no broads, no reason.
Bahrain has suffered largely over the last four years of no liquor during Ramadan. Maybe the owners of the hotels should get together and protest the government over lack of trade.

Booze and Broads are the main reason anyone in Saudi would want to go to Bahrain so if those 2 are not in the equation, no reason to go there really.
Plus the 1 month break is utilized by hotels to refurbish their facilities and the girls go home to see their families.
Any idea when the girls should start returning or should Bahrain be a ghost town even a few days after the Eid-Ul-Fitr holiday? I'm planning on going there around 4th October and I hope by then my favorite girls would have returned.

In the last few nights there have been 20+ Thai ladies in the Cosmo Lounge of Ramee International. They don't bug you much unless you start talking to them, except one grabbed my ass the first night and several will keep staring and smiling at you.

Still not sure where, but I am thinking of Ramee for an asian experience, I believe some are still there judging from a previous post. I doubt the girls will be back all at once. Some will obviously, but how many how soon is unknown. For visiting mongers, it will be near impossible to find rooms in hotels/apts for first week of Eid. So unless you have pre-arranged accommodation, it may be a bad idea to visit during Eid.

You will have to work a little harder because it is not a poorly lit, noisy nightclub. You will have to engage the lady and make conversation for a bit before you two go off for more intimate times together.
But they are there and you have a good selection to choose from.

Yep... right now they don't even play music in Cosmo because of Ramadan, but you can find girls and some very good pool players too, all you can buy is food and regular drinks, but no alcohol. So... if you are looking for a lady... go to the Ramee, it's a for sure thing.
